Bro I just notice that you have covered the air con piping with the black insulation sponge thingy. Does it help in making aicon cooler or something?

Last week i sent the persona to check the engine then notice that aircon pipe was cold and a lot water. Hmm tot of covering it oso.


BTW, Just got my car last week. LOL A black PE. Loving it. Ordered the orifice valve and the relay already. Next week can install when i go for 1st 1,000 km service.

Howdy to all personarian, Yeai, ordered my sound proof material de. Now waiting for my long holiday. Plan to stick it on under the steering plastic cover (saw one of you stick some sound proof to it), that row of buttons and the part below the HU that use to put handphone and small stuff. Got some rattling noise in there.

Anyone know how to take out that thingy under the HU and the row of buttons? LOl look like kinda hard to open. Unlike the normal wira.

Tis wont void my warranty ho?

Me just ordered 2 boxed of flexipad soundproof from forumer here. It stated there about 2mm thickness only. Should fit i think. Hehehe. Double sided tape scare not enough lol, then have to open again and scare the clip cacat de. So better one shot sound proof it kaw kaw. Hahahah.

Drive a black persona. hahaha, when the car arrive in show room, i ask them not to wash the car even it got a lot finger print. Scare donno wat cloth they use to wipe. Now bring out ask them spray water onli for RM3. Go back home, rinse, shampoo and wipe sendiri. LOL.

I think the honk is middle of the steering leh. The round round one. Most of the time fail besar to honk becos too hard. LOL.

anyone change the front plate number to 2 row plate number? Imagine it would be quite nice.


LOL the given plate and plate holder like too long. Macam very flimpsy. Wonder where around kl or pj can make metal plate.

Installed orifice valve de. Woh, make big difference. no more klok klok sound. hehhe.

The bzzzzz sound still got. The ah neh go deepavali with the computer thingy tat use to update the ECU. Hahahhaa. So monday baru go back to update the ecu.

Done sound proof for the grey plastic at the bottom of steering. SOLID mang. Hahha more solid than any part of the dashboard when ketuk ketuk with finger. Use more than half of the flexipad. Oso put tape on the back seat lock mechanism. Havent test drive yet. hehehe, wonder got any effect or not.

Lol, didnt take photo ohh sorry. My handphone rosak long time ago, now using nokia 1200 as temporary phone till i got money for N8. So the phone no camera. hehehe. but the plastic cover is very heavy now.

Free i guess. Hahaha. bill havent give me yet. Eon service centre lor. Been servicing there for more than 10 years d. so pay later one. hahaha. fathers best fren.

Ohh my, my PE got some problem when starting. Already 3 times de. At first i thought it was new so not run in yet. But 3 times de. Mileage now is 2k km.

In random, when starting the engine, it will crank 2 or 3 time till it like over start. Something like slip gear sound. Very loud sound. Then when release the key, the engine it not on yet. So i think i am not over cranking it. Hmm anyone experience it before?

Other than tat 3 time, all the starting is normal. 1 sec already start.

But mine during tat time not only it take longer to start but it make a loud krrrrrrrrkkk sound. Scary man. gonne ask them to check for my next service.

If you lightly knock on the row of button, it will create some vibration sound. and also the plastic thingy to put coins.

I sound proof it using butimen strip then the side use wayar wrap to stick on lining.

Not recomended to take out the handphone or coin holder becos the alignment will lari. Mine got gap de.

the row of button can kopek easily out using some hard plastic. try the side and bottom to kopek. Dun kopek from top.

U can also sound proof the plastic cover at the bottom of your steering wheel.
So far mine no vibrate sound de.
