anyone here were called by proton to replace PE ECU? mine was listed as one of them..now waiting for ECU replacement. i was informed by service advisor this morning when doing 20k major service

after how many KMs u guys started changing to aftermarket brake pad..?
ive been using engine braking when rushing to work... :/
thought of changing it but will it void the warranty?

did they replace yours already? any information you have? booked my service this coming monday....ecu replacement is a big thing....like brain surgery.. hahaha

i chg my brake pad during 15k service.

reason = say 88 to the dust after change new rim

Hahahaha...i change after 3 days of my new car. The stock brake feel i dun like..Now using Trestor Advantage Blue

- got mine replaced at 9k KM to Trestor Advantage Blue.

-nola where got brain surgery? its just plug and play only. Located right under the dashboard behind the aircond control knobs. ur persona must be the Elegance model right? Elegance famous for ECU problems. But that was before.... now very rarely hear of it anymore.

rev up and down it self.. better ask them check the crankshaft angle sensor....

-long time punya brand la... its been around for years already. another brand good to use is Bendix Metal King Titanium.
-Trestor Advantage got lotsa dust almost the same like the lousy original Proton pads. But i am fine with it since i clean my ride every weekend. Bendix Metal King Titanium however is less dust.

already 20k? u drive utara to selatan? mine already 5month 10k also hard to reach.

anyway i dont think my ECU prob, before bough the car maybe happen weird think, but after sometime it's good now, and my engine also really easy to start,
maybe need time for ECU to learn and study the engine by itself

But some peoples and mechanics says that the pad will shortest your disc rotor lifetime.....

i rather shorten the disc rotor than the brake dun bite... Rotor how much only? RM 150 ~ RM 180 for both......


Dun bite can cause a lot than price of brake to rotor...even ur life,.....

But my mechanics at Pandan Mewah recommend other brand as good as bendix at the same price but didnt shorten the disc rotor....
