agree. and u know what? my maid told me that my car has oil leakage these 2 days. it never happened before i sent for service. so today brought to a nearby foreman to check, indeed the engine oil was leaking. the nut wasn't tighten nicely and wasn't sealed with a tape  mad.gif  vmad.gif
they charge so much for labor and this is what i get... the foreman nice enough not to ask money from me  thumbup.gif
*
same case as mine a long time ago with BLM.
before that, no leaking.
when change another SC at PANTAI BAHARU, there is oil leaking.. doh.gif
go tyre shop and those foreman check the leaking and said the oil nut is not tighten good enough.. hahaha. GOOD!!! shakehead.gif

Hi Guys,

Here's the details of my 40K major service

btw guys, how much does skimming a pair of front disc brake costs? I'm quoted RM80 for front pair, reasonable?

I wanted to change my brake pad to bendix metal king titanium but the person see my brake pad says still new ask why want to change. I told him since i changed to this new ceramic one, it has been making a lot of noise, especially during the morning. i also went to one workshop and they help me to smoothen and cut a bit of the brake pad surface before. It was ok a while after that but the noise came back not long after.
after he checks, he said my discs need skimming coz surface uneven d, so useless if change pads also. indeed, when i touch it with my fingers, can feel uneven also. he says need skim then change new pad only effective.

so now wondering if RM80 to skim the 2 front discs is reasonable and whether it will really solve the problem...

dont mind me asking..... just wondering, can we buy our own brakepad and ask the SC to install. They allow?

It's possible that you did not format your SD card before installation. Pls format your SD card first, and do the installation again. It should work. smile.gif

*
yah. I didn't format the SD card. OK. Will do.
Before that, can I roll back? Just copy whatever inside my SD card to my PC to backup?

OSRAM NightBreaker

Probably the brightest halogen light in the world
- now with new technology for extra lifetime.

The ideal lamp for drivers who want to drive with more light for greater safety.
Thanks to a specially-developed high output coil and the blue ring coating, the headlight lamps of the NIGHT BREAKER PLUS product family

* shine up to 90% more light on the street*
* have an up to 35 m longer beam*
* put out up to 10% whiter light*

*compared with standard lamps

The lengthened light cone illuminates dangers and obstacles significantly earlier – for additional reaction time that can save lives!
The whiter light of NIGHT BREAKER PLUS also improves driving comfort and reduces dangerous eyestrain.
In addition, the patented blue ring coating leads to less glare for the driver: the clearly focused light beam concentrates the light 75 to 100 m in front of the vehicle, exactly where you need it.
NIGHT BREAKER PLUS’s unique design improves the looks of your headlights. The typical silver cap (H4, H7, H11) and the blue ring coating make a striking impression.

NIGHT BREAKER PLUS have up to 50% more lifetime compared to the first generation of NIGHT BREAKER headlamps. This was achieved by a new filament design and an optimized share of prime gas filling. And on top, the high quality, gold plated contacts (H4, H7) provide superior conductivity.

Of course the NIGHT BREAKER PLUS family of lamps can be easily exchanged for any corresponding halogen lamps and are 100% street legal across all of Europe.

Sorry about that. Your unit uses an older chipset and has a lower memory capacity. However, you can still download our latest maps. We have also made vast improvements on our maps.

Mr Lokatoo -
It's rather disappointing .... I've already updated the latest map on my A900 but could not find Jalan USJ21 and yet my Nokia can locate it.
