anyone can explain to me y my AMD XP 1700+ running dual channel 2x512mb corsair value ram the result only around 1200 when running sandra 2005 memory benchmark???? the bandwidth efficiency only 48% i can see most of u guy the efficiency should be around 90+% .... and when i used CPUZ to check, the manufacture date of my RAM was not display...is it my memory faulty??

I think because since you are using 2 double sided modules, the bios automatically change the ram operation from 1T(CPC Enabled) to 2T(CPC Disabled) which theoretically reduce the bandwidth by almost half.

check the bios. i don't know which section... but it should be together with the memory timing settings. don't ask me further because i don't even know what motherboard u are using.

for NF7 series,

CPC ON = CPU Interface (Enabled)

Winbond chip is meant for 2-2-2 operation..... the gain is negligible if u loosen the timings.......

300 HTT @ 2.5-3-3-7 ........ not possible lah..........

yup...winbond is meant for tight timing...not high fsb...didnt bother to test anything other than 222x setting...i didnt bother to go lesser than 2225...coz at >265...changing the tras wont do any good at all wif mine, other than reducing the bandwidth...for higher fsb i got my tccd to do the task...if only i could know how...hahaha...asking pccrazy to help me out in those area with this tccd.
