very agree with Diva about neutering...many people think that neutering is cruel thing to do because they never know all advantages laid behind it..In fact, I have all my kids neutered, except Christmas (a male maltese). I need to wait my exam to over so I will have time to spend after his operation.. btw to alls (especially who knows about my white toy poodle, cathy), she has grown to big matured girl...more lady-like now compared when she was a puppy...She was very rascal and tomboy...hahahhaha Added on January 20, 2011, 10:17 pm@Diva: I have been following your posts for quiet some time...very educated...I'm so salute for your efforts..I wish we can meet up for sometime..maybe, u can help me create a special cut for my toy poodle This post has been edited by soekma88: Jan 20 2011, 10:17 PM

for my experience, none of my kids went to bite the stitches...so, i didnt put any e-collar...but of course, precaution is better..means, its better for u to get the e-collar for ur puppy...like diva said it's only simple operation...the only thing that u need to note is ur puppy has to fast for 7 hours (if i'm nt mistaken)...after the operation performed, u might feel that your puppy is restless..it is normal...for 1st experience, it might frighten u a little when u see the stitch (will be a bit reddish)...but dun worry, the operation is harmless @diva: I'm not really keen on the standard-cut (or show-cut)..I would prefer the face left unshaven...anyway, her hair is still short...let it grow longer, then we discuss about it
