My Percy started to do marking and that pissed my mum off...how i wish i am there to scold and correct him!

Everytime inside playpen, he will pee and poo on the tray provided.( He pee like a female style). But when i let him out in the living room to play, he will pee(marking) at selected areas EVERYTIME! sad.gif

Other than this bad behaviour, he seems to be a good boy. My mum said if he wont do marking, she will 24/7 let him roam freely in the house.

Btw, he's going to be 11months old coming 8th January! biggrin.gif Time flies!!!

My Percy recently got LOTS of ticks and flea...at 1st i used frontline to spray and the i help him "cabut"..but still got a lot...so i brought him to shave totally botak! Then only can see ALL the ticks! So horrible...

His playpen and cage there got so many..some dead some still crawling everywhere. Then my groomer recommend using Bayticol ( not sure if the spelling correct) to bath him...he drink that mixture and keep vomiting..had a scared of my life..that day was Sunday and my hometown usually no vet open that day.. Thank God i got the vet number and immediately called and ask how to cure...i put 12ml in 10 litres of water...too strong for him i think...

Not sure if he still got ticks or not as i am now in KL and he's in my hometown...
I think i saw lots of small white-ish thing around his cage tray..that's the eggs rite?? How to make my house free from ticks and fleas?? My mum used Ridsect( to kill ants and mosquito) to spray at the ticks and flea...

I really pity him keep scratching! Even my another medium sized dog also got a bit...that medium sized dog i put her outdoor and Percy is an indoor dog..

Any solutions??

Hi, my Percy marking inside the house is getting really annoying and worst. I plan to bring him to neuter but i really donnoe if that's the right thing to do. Something just keep making me hesitate to do so! SIGH!
Plan to bring him to do the operation tomorrow since i have 1 month semester break and will have time to take care of him after the operation. IS IT THE RIGHT THING TO DO?

But the problem is he also will do a little marking in the the playpen +.+
Will the method still be useful?

He anggap the playpen is a wall and mark on few sides. All these while my sis and mum taking care of him.
So, sometimes he's 12 hours inside playpen. We seldom bring him out to the lawn, so he cannot do marking and therefore mark inside house and playpen? That's what i thought la..

The playpen is connected to the cage. Whenever i put him inside the cage, he wont pee or poo inside unless he really cannot tahan.

Plan to bring him to neuter later in the evening. Hope it's a right desicion. Hopefully i wont regret la..haha

he's now in recovering mode. He's so funny with that "head cone"(donnoe what it's called..haha) I hope he' still as active as before and as obedience as before.
I still kinda think it's cruel to neuter him. SIGH! Will be observing him MOST of the time to correct his marking behaviour. Hopefully this time it works. Past 2 days he was like mabuk/blur blur. Today can run and jump here and there already. Hahaha..
Will post up his pictures soon tongue.gif

Wah..he so guai?? My Percy most of the time not pee on his tray de. But after i neuter him, he sometimes know how to go to his tray at kitchen to pee. I let him roam around freely most of the time. He din pee as often as before he was neutered. I hope it's normal...haha

I botak my Percy completely once...then almost botak once and the rest i usually just trim it short...now, his fur is horrible.

I don know if it's genetic or because of the FOOD/SHAMPOO/GROOMING or because i did ticks treatment on him( you don wanna know what goes wrong there!Haha) Uploading pictures now. Hope seniors here can help clarify things. biggrin.gif

to prevent him from licking or go and "kacau" the wound/stitches...at 1st he's not used to it but then after few days he kinda get used to it already. 1st day he dare not sit down or lay down.

Keep on standing only. Because once he put his head down, the collar will touch the floor and got 1 sound. He so scared until he stand up straight away..haha

Hey, really jealous with you guys owning more than 1 dog! My Percy really giving me headache..
After neutering him, every night I won't lock him inside cage to sleep. I let him at the playpen and the playpen is connected to the cage.. Eversince I took the e collar off, this incident happen;; sometimes he climb out the playpen sometime stay inside playpen till morning. If he climb out, he will go to certain spots and do marking!! FYI, those spots are the same spots he do marking before I neutered him! Damn headache!!
During day time if I let him out and around him, he won't mark at those places.. But if I go to living room and watch tv, he will follow me to living room but then later on go to kitchen to sniff food and then do some marking. His playpen is at the kitchen..
Most of the time inside playpen he will pee and poo inside tray!! Why why he's so naughty??!! sad.gif sad.gif
