You guys so geng... only a night you guys go up to 3 pages... Digi tower near my place have been down since friday morning and so damn piss with the SOS calls only reception on and off when at home...
Back to your topics... I am used to messi's poo dy... some more, most of the time he does his business in the bathroom. Right away I flush it in the toilet... His pee is more smelly, so poo is not that bad... lol... Debbie, the training aid I gave you is suppose to be sprayed on the place where you want him to do his business on... I don't know if feeding Barf is a good idea or not but I become not keen in that idea after knowing what the effect it can have on the dogs... Do you normally brush your furkid's teeth after they eat barf? Do you know that feeding barf can cause tooth decay? Some say it also have side effect like skin problem. Do you know how much is enough for your dog? Aren't you worry that after you feed barf, they become choosy in food and does not want to eat their kibbles? There are too many question mark but let me share with you what I have found on the internet... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

Why don't you guys just buy some pumpkin and some chicken breast/beef and steam them for your furkids? natural food is always good but remember that our furkids have gone through many generations of kibbles feeding and they are no longer a wild dogs...
Debbie, how old is your friend's poodles and shih tzu? Is your friend's poodle toy size? Please do more research before feeding BARF. I have been in this forum almost 10 months now and haven't heard any seniors that are very into BARF except you guys... lol... But I might be wrong... It is really up to you guys... |

QUOTE(debbieyss @ Mar 22 2011, 10:12 AM) Yeowa, barf is suitable for all size doggies, just that different size for different portion. This is what i have checked. It is really up to individuals lor... I personally not in favour of BARF... My friend's is toy poodle and shih tzu. The other friend also having barf, is a tiny toy. My auntie's dog is shih tzu mixed with spaniel, eating cooked food (rice and chicken), 8 years old now. But i prefer raw food so that the skin and coat will be better. |

@scorpgal
Clean the cage daily. Apply some dettol on a plain cloth and wipe the whole cage base... I use forban (human skin gel from pharmacy) on those area with pimples and it helps. |

QUOTE(simplicity1224 @ Mar 31 2011, 03:33 AM) Hi, my Percy marking inside the house is getting really annoying and worst. I plan to bring him to neuter but i really donnoe if that's the right thing to do. Something just keep making me hesitate to do so! SIGH! i am afraid it is too late already.... even after neutering, most likely he will still do marking as it has become a habit... There is a method to retrain him... Get a small empty coca cola bottle, put beads(half full) and put it by your side. Monitor him on weekend from morning to night and when he starts lifting his leg, you shake the bottle and shoo him to toilet(or the place where you want him to do his business). Repeat the process for 2 full days and the rest of the weeks when you are at home. When you are not free to monitor him, put him in the playpen or cage so he is limited to the playpen area. You may be able to see the result after a week or two... Plan to bring him to do the operation tomorrow since i have 1 month semester break and will have time to take care of him after the operation. IS IT THE RIGHT THING TO DO? Good luck! P/s: My Messi has not started doing marking at home(except toilet) yet as i trained him to pee and poo only in toilet now... He do lift one leg but at the spot he normally pee and poo... The above way is what I learn from the internet and to prepare myself in the event when messi starting to do marking.... |

QUOTE(JXplod @ Mar 31 2011, 09:32 AM) waa..oh my good tips here. then ill have to prepare also when max try anything doing marking.><" sure pengsan seeing the pee fly here n there. before 6 months old, just train him to pee and poo on a tray... that's the right way to do as they couldn't control their bladder and need to relief as when they feel like it.... When they are 6 months old, they can control their bladder much better and can control pee for longer hours... Move the tray to toilet and wait for them to pee and poo... whichever come first, remember to clear it for the next one as very unlikely they will pee on the poo or poo on the pee... lol... my toilet also always wet, but normally i force him to pee and poo first before i take bath morning (after his breakfast) and evening(when I reach home).... I will normally shoo him to toilet before I go to sleep again.... So, it's about 3 times a day... Added on March 31, 2011, 9:35 amhmm Aurelius bro, how you train messi go into the toilet? cause my toilet floor always wet.. i scare max foot get fungi infection if didnt dry up instantly.. but peeing in the toilet make thing easy even poo also. now i train max pee n poo in the tray... but once he out roaming.. sure forget went in.. kek sei |

QUOTE(huey80 @ Apr 1 2011, 08:47 AM) but then...Artemis is not known to cause stains. Izzit becoz Max is teething? i hv 4 gals feeding on Artemis and only the puppies have stains. One is at teething stage and another is genetic. Messi is on his last pack of Artemis puppy pack... I bought rawhide yesterday and funny that he can't finish biting the raw hide also at his size now... but he was busy with it for at least 1.5hours before I went to sleep... lol...
