QUOTE(Ellewaikay @ Nov 6 2009, 01:58 PM) Hi, I'm looking for a good hairstylist also. same problem here. my hairstylist of 3 years went MIA and i've been trying new places ever since and none of them can cut my hair the way i want. THEY ALL TURN MY HAIR INTO ASIAN/JAP/AH BENG HAIRSTYLE which freaking pisses me off. i want neat business looking kinda hairstyle because i meet alot of people, and so far all the places i've tried have dissapoint. seems like no one in malaysia knows how to cut like that anymore. The problem is I'm an old fashioned guy and I prefer traditional type of hairstyles. Quite frankly I find the male hairstyles these days quite ridiculous. I want to look nice but I don't want to come out looking like a woman. In other words I don't want something like this: ![]() And all those other hairstyles with a long ass fringe covering half the face with freaking thick side burns. I'm sorry, but they look ridiculous. What I want is something like this: ![]() Short, clean and neat. Unfortunately all these professional salons are only good at a fixed number of styles. I actually brought that exact pic to APT Sunway and they managed to f*** it up. I wish I had read the reviews about APT in this thread before I went. Any better recommendations? |

QUOTE(Junid @ Jan 29 2010, 02:19 AM) i wanna have a "messy-look" hair but my hair is too soft and straight. what should i do? one more thing , any good shampoo that you guys can recommend for flaky scalp? try using clay, it adds alot of volume to your hair and is the perfect tool to style messy-hair. as long as your hair is not thin it should be quite easy.for flaky scalp go for anti dandruft shampoo. or if u want something stronger, get nizoral shampoo, you can get it at the counter of guardian. |

QUOTE(Steven_aka_G @ Jan 30 2010, 09:59 AM) Guys, any recommendations for a hair style for a guy like me? I'm looking for a manly look because I believe I still have that baby face == Any recommendations for a good hairstylist at the same time with a price ranging below RM50? the hair you have right now quite suit your face. if you want something to make you look tougher, i suggest going butch hairstyle. or you could try for long hair.Picture is in my avatar |

QUOTE(I_luv_HeeLs @ Nov 11 2010, 05:59 PM) I've made an appointment at e.p salon (eiji project) at MV on next Monday. Heard that they are good...well keeping my fingers crossed. Their charges are RM98 for first timer, cut by a Japan top 10 hairstylist. I think it's reasonable i've been there twice, i took the rm110 cut and they japanese guy did a decent job but nothing spectecular considering the price. i doubt they are japan's top 10, maybe the owner(eiji) is but definately not the guys doing the cutting in malaysia. |

QUOTE(I_luv_HeeLs @ Nov 12 2010, 05:16 PM) Hmmm...i'm not sure either. They asked if i want local or Japanese so i told them i prefer Japanese. I also told them that i want someone who's good in cutting and styling women's long hair. He recommended Mr Hamakuchi (spelling might be wrong) which based in Tokyo and only come here to Malaysia for 2 weeks every month. First time price is RM98 but thereafter will be RM168. Again i can just keep my fingers crossed. Dun wanna ended up looking like the Japanese street style considering my job is kinda professional shouldn't be a problem, they speak english although abit broken. they also have assistants there which are local. service is very good there so it shouldn't be a problem.By the way for all of you who has been there...i was just wondering will there be problem communicating with them? |
