posted this else and will post it here again.

2 salons that i highly recommend are

Number 76 (formerly known as EP group). The one at MV north Point and there is another branch at Mont Kiara.

hair cut by japanese stylist is RM98 for MV branch.. last time i checked, mont kiara's branch is a bit higher in price. not sure have they standardized their price yet or not.

anyway, MV's branch has Yoshi and Hikky for japanese stylists and Steve as local stylist.

Mont Kiara's branch has Dejima and Ryoko as Japanese stylists and Amy as local stylist.

I used to be a loyal customer for the past 1 year at MV's branch and my stylist is Yoshi. However, I have stopped going there because they have gotten very popular nowadays due to local bloggers promoting for them. I do not really like getting my hair done under the environment where there are many customers around. haha! i feel stressful. lol

hence I decided to look for another japanese salon and I came across Aki Hair Studio at TTDI. I LOVE IT THERE! Aki worked for EP group when they just opened at MV north point and after 3 years, he went to Thailand for 2 years and recently came back here and open his own salon, call Aki Hair Studio.

His hair cut costs RM138; however they are running at 20% promotion for all services right now. Very relaxing environment and I feel so peaceful there as not many customers. haha!

NOTE: the price that i mentioned are based on female customers.. i think for male customers are cheaper? please call them up for enquiry

i think i have heard quite many ppl in here complained about APT. i wonder why are you guys still going there. i mean i have never been to that salon but hearing so many negative feedback, i don't think i would even think about it. haha!

taipan, not from that area, so i am not sure. but there are 2 salon that i highly recommend.

aki hair studio at TTDI (hairstylist: aki)

number 76 at mont kiara or MV northpoint. (hairstylist at mont kiara: dejima and ryoko. MV: yoshi and hikky)

one more.. haven't been there before but heard atsushi is quite good. the salon's name is pitchoune at solaris

i guess these places are too far for you >_<

Guys,

Kindly recommend an affordable hair salon pricing around RM40+- for guys? I'm seeking for a clean and professional attire-like hair cut around Kepong/PJ?

I've been to several hair salons but the outcome is disastrous, currently getting serviced in Bianco - Aman Puri, recently they have increased the price so I'm looking for another alternative.

Any thoughts?

I need to get a good and nice professional haircut for my final year in uni. I wanted to go all crazy and go all 'lala' and go blonde, but I need to go for interviews. Sigh. Need to be presentable.
Any suggestions in KL/PJ/Subang area?

I really need you guys' help. Yesterday i just had the worst haircut of my life. My hair is always medium length and i style it like Chase Crawford of gossip girl, with the fringe and all.

I went to a cheap saloon in Tesco Shah Alam for a cut (RM16 - something like x-cut), and i told the female hairdresser that I just want to trim my hair, and don't cut short and give few details on my sideburn, how i want it to look, and strictly no 'slope' . I mentioned this few times during the cut as well. The problem was, during the cut, I was not wearing my spectacle and my power is like -7.50 for both eyes so i can't see clearly what happened to my hair during the haircut.

But when she finished cutting my hair, i wore my spectacle, i was like waking up to a nightmare!!.. she cuts my hair too short.. i mean like... super super short...like a nerdy 15 year old school kid.. can u imagine from the hair like chase crawford she 'trimmed' it until it looked like nerddd.. i was really frustrated.

can anyone give me some tips on how to tell the hairdresser that i just want a trim, and not to cut until too short.. I had this problem almost on every haircut but this was the worst ever.. i went to cheap (rm16-20) or expensive saloon (RM50 and above), they all have the same problem to understand what is the meaning of trim.. and please recommend me some good hair saloon around jalan kuching/segambut/hartamas/mont kiara..

p/s: yeah, i was furious after the haircut and i scolded the hairstylist. I paid the money and chow.
