QUOTE(Calvin871989 @ Sep 5 2010, 06:04 PM) i was very upset when i heard my second all time man utd player slept with a prostitute while his wife was pregnant I have the same sentiment as you. First in 2004, its understandable coz he's young, not commited in terms of marriage and all...but now? I said the same when JT scandal broke, and i'll say the same if Rooney do indeed do such things: It's a shameful act. I wont go so low as to defend his act and say it's his private life and none of our business....IF it indeed is true, then very shameful coz he's always involved with youngsters and this does not make him look good at all even though i hate to believe the news, i have a feeling that the news is true. why cant rooney learn to be like giggs in his younger days ? this upsets me as a man utd & england fan. sigh. so will his wife forgive him this time ? cant keep count on how many times this has happened. But nonetheless, he is still a United player and hope he can get back to his senses and get his life sorted out coz this thing will somehow affect his footballing duties. I dislike his actions, not him. PS: all said are assuming the news is true...which is just as true as JT's affair anyway. But reli hope this is just an April Fool joke or something This post has been edited by pyroboy1911: Sep 5 2010, 09:43 PM |

QUOTE(Ken @ Sep 6 2010, 11:01 AM) to be fair a few of them who say its none of our business when it happens to other players, say the same thing about Rooney. At least they stick to what they say. And to a few of us who taunt and joke about their players to them, now we face the karma of being ridiculed. dare to give, dare to receive. But what ticks me off are hypocrites who say 1 thing about themselves and say the other to others. Personally i still believe that as a player u have your club's image to hold and while u may argue that other players do the same, 2 wrongs doesnt make it right. Just hope this isnt the cause of his form now...i would expect this has been an issue for the past few months already, not when the tabloid publish it. Hope he can settle it ASAP so as not to disturb his footballing duties. This post has been edited by pyroboy1911: Sep 6 2010, 11:29 AM |

i would suggest putting Giggs and Scholes into the team regardless, coz there might not be another chance to draw them next season

Evra did the deadliest mistake of defending - trying to be flamboyant when defending. He was looking and tracking the ball all the while, im pretty sure a simple header would suffice

QUOTE(Pain_X @ Sep 11 2010, 08:37 PM) Haha, most typical scenario ever. Experience this 90% of the time as a man utd fan : Godmode opponent keeper, opponents performances are almost as if they're playing for their lives. what annoys me the most is when they play other big teams, they drop their pants and literally bend over just to be screwed. |

speaking of dropping pants, Baines wanna do that for us earlier, taking off his pants....but one of the Everton coachin staff reminded him that they are playing United and so he put on a new pair.

i know we have discussed before how come Vidic is captain ahead of Giggs when Neville is not around...but this time Neville is in the team and still Vidic the captain?

conceding 1 late goal to lose is 1 thing, to concede 2 when u think u already have the 3 points in bag is another issue which i personally think is more hurtful

cant agree more its the way we lost points, not the fact that we did. OK losing points ain't good, but especially the Everton game, the point is literally in our bag already. Cahill's goal sparked a few ???? on our player's heads and before you know it, Everton's players managed to take advantage of it. Only after their 3rd goal, u see our teams really pushed forward (like we always did last season when we were drawing) but it's a little too late. If we maintained the same urge, no matter win, lose or draw to push in that last few minutes, all this could have been avoided.

Dammit, super curious at what happened. When they were calling for the stretcher frantically, doesn't seem to be THAT serious, din see any leg "deformities".
Anyway let's win the UCL!! For Antonio!!!! |

QUOTE(Wan @ Sep 19 2010, 04:15 PM) They can't wait to see us crash and burn, and it won't happen anytime soon. im not too sure about the rules, but in a penalty shootout shouldnt the keeper only make 1 save attempt? for example, assuming the keeper aint being an ass and saw the ball going in, can he go and stop the ball from going in? coz most of the time, keeper will either touch the ball none (when the ball goes in or out) or once (either save it, or touched it but went in nonetheless). So i have never seen any incident where the keeper make 2 distinct touches to the ball during a shooutout, so not too sure bout the rule. Look at the ages of those that are under 28 or so, and you would see most of them have played a big part for the team. By the time the old guards left, they will slot in seamlessly. Talking about old guards, this might be the GK to replace VDS when the time comes.. |

QUOTE(Calvin871989 @ Sep 19 2010, 06:12 PM) technically the ball can go into the goal until it completely stops. in the video, it's just like a keeper touches a ball but the ball still went in anyway. but what i was wondering is if that keeper can make a "second" touch on the ball to stop it from moving. |

QUOTE(Calvin871989 @ Sep 19 2010, 06:21 PM) i see. so the ball must come to a complete stop ? i was thinking the other way around. thought when the keeper saves it, thats it. yea referee was unsure as well, but it is technically a goal. A ball needs to stop moving or out of play area (behind the post) to be deemed not a goal (im pretty sure bout this learned something new today. thanks NVM, stop worrying about this 1 in a thousand thing, im going to bar to watch the match tonigh!
