so for the make-shift CD duo to work, either Vida take the role of the last man, or Evans improves on his stopper (his experience is still too little to become the last man, although i see him as the future last man, with Smalling become the future stopper)
I don't think Vida can be the lastman. He is easily smoked by players like Torres. Evans, on the other hand has the pace to chase back. And I totally agree on Smalling. I see a resemblance of Rio in him despite the fact that both of them are black. (am I a racist?

)
Anyway, experience will come for the young lads. Playing beside Vida will surely help Evans to grow. He will learn from his mistakes. Besides, experience and mistakes are the best teacher for anything.

i guess if saf still want to play his best striker, he will pick rooney, but not berba.. perhaps owen, macheda bebe, and chicharito also waiting for their chance..
Yup, I think so too. First of all, Rooney is not quite there, so SAF might want to play him until he rediscover his form back.
It would be amazing if both Berba and Rooney are in their best form. Defenders will shat brix!!
