Went already. Cambodia can go solo no problem lor

Compared to europe or japan, cambodia is still relatively cheap
$1.50 can buy you a big meal already. $0.50 for beers

Samui for relaxing lor. Honestly, i find koh phangan beaches ok only. Haadrin is pretty nice, but i wouldn't swim there during full moon, a lot of ppl urine there

Ok.. If only two islands, u shud definitely extend a night in koh tao, so u can go on the half/full day snorkeling trip around koh tao (550 baht only, both half and full day also same price, inclusive of trip to koh nangyuan). Visited the various sites around koh tao like shark bay, aow leuk, hin wong, mango bay. Worth every penny!
Koh nangyuan wasn't the highlight of koh tao for me, but the snorkeling trip was!

EDIT: forgot u have full moon on the 2nd, sigh...

I stayed at Boutique Cambo hotel - $19/night
Tuk-tuk (you don't need a guide there)- $15-20 / day only
If you want to really budget, can rent bicycle - only $1 per day

... No need scared la. No hantu there, but if motor got problem otw, not many ppl there to help. If really nervous, then go there in the afternoon la, lepak there until night time

Just dark only, if u go during weekend, got quite a number of ppl on the road. On weekdays, mcm silent hill. Wear jacket, it's freaking cold up there at night

I did. Went to Jakarta, Bandung, Dieng, Yogyakarta, Bromo and Ijen over 12 days. AMA, will try to answer
