Hi. Anyone can suggest when is the best month to visit europe? Thinking to go europe for 1 month.
*
Generally the best time to visit Europe is during Spring (March to May) or Fall/Autumn (September-November) period as the temperature is not that cold and much lesser crowd compare to the peak Summer season (June-August) which is super hot as well.

Yeezai, how do you manage to do that, spend less than 10k for 3 mths !!

Hotels in Switzerland are expensive, Prague, Budapest is cheaper, can get less than RM200/ room for 2 to 3 star. Food and travel in Switz also expensive. better to stay longer at Prague and Budapest !!

Cheap Hotels in Switzerland are youth hostels and even that they charge per person, around 50 CHF per night !!

Roughly, land at Zurich from Heathrow. Stay at Lucerne.

5/6 days in Switz, to interlaken, Montreqaux using Golden Pass Line, Chur to Torino using Benina Express Line, Lauterbrunnen, Jungfrau Line.

Visiting Biel, Berne, Lucerne, Thun , Gastraad. From Lucerne proceed to Vienna, Budapest, Prague and fly to Liverpool
All in all 22 days, budget around 10 k. Hopefully enough !!

Hi all...
Me and my friends who are 19 years old this year...
Planning to visit several places at Peninsular Malaysia before we enter University...
We have around one month and a half before the University start so I'm not sure whether I'm in rush, since we just need to plan where to go in Peninsular Malaysia...
We planned to visit like every states in Malaysia in like a week or else???
Finding beautiful places for camera shooting or some nice food to taste...
I just have several places in my mind to go like Penang, Sekinchan etc...
Most of these places are tourist attraction so I'm really wondering is there any other places to visit in other states for example in Terengganu?Kelantan?
We will mostly driving around Peninsular Malaysia so the distance isn't the problem...
Kindly give us some suggestion so we can plan this trip early...
Thanks all..

well heres the countries i covered in 3mths..HARDCORE
france -paris
belgium - brussels
netherlands - amsterdam,noordwijk
chech - prague
slovakia-bratislava
slovenia
austria - vienna
germany - frankfurt
italy - firenze
hungary - budapest
poland - krakow

and i mean hardcore backpacking..i get myself a eurolines month pass and go from countries to countries during the night most of the time and sleep on bus to save on hostels.sometimes i tag along with those europeans that are driving from their own countries and drop me somewhere.sometimes i sleep at bus station while waiting for morning bus to other countries..do note i only take BUS ..i remembered going in poland after midnight and the immigration look at my like im a spy or something..whole bus wait for my passport clearance ..another korean that travel with me didnt have any problem tho..maybe they never had any msian traveller going by land before..lol
met alot of independent backpackers and i tag along with them .sometimes sharing sleeping bag.limit myself to only 2 simple high carb meals that i can get my hands on...no fast food, no restaurant sometimes takeaway sometimes if i stayed in hostel will get some frozen friedrice from supermarket and divided them into 2-3meals ..
no softdrinks for those few mths lol ..only have tap water which is drinkable ..only have few tshirts on me which i dont even bother to change ...

btw thank god i didnt have any encounter with pick pockets or thief ...and i venture too far out nasib still got money to make it back to paris coz theres where my flight back to msia ..the order above isnt right i think..should be like this - netherlands -belgium - france - germany - italy- czech - austria - slovenia - slovakia - poland - germany - netherlands - france ..hope it helps..btw its much more easier to save on trips with couchsurfing nowadays...and my trip was in 07 ..

Thanks for the reply. Normally in our case, we will stay at medium cost hotels, less than 200/nite, eat at food stalls and travel by train where possible.

train travel in Switzerland quite expensive. Today's Star paper quoted London as one of the most expensive city. !! Anyway kalau 10k not enough, use credit card loh !!
