Monsoon session though some have met with heavy rain during mid year as well. hi digitalz, thanks for the head up, do realise that the recommended dive period is mar to sept just like east coast islands of peninsular. info that i gather is if no rain on jan-feb, less crowd and better chances of more dives to sipadan island. disadvantage is heavy rain and lower viz. Appreciate ur feedback tho Any1 visited Sipadan and itz surrounding islands? share ur experience please!! Besides that, i am quiet free from works during Jan and Feb, any other good diving spot within malaysia or south east asia? Thanks |

QUOTE(two570 @ Jun 8 2012, 01:57 PM) hi digitalz, Well, if you don't mind, you can try the islands in the west side of MY which is not affected. There's also Phi phi island, Phuket and other choices. thanks for the head up, do realise that the recommended dive period is mar to sept just like east coast islands of peninsular. info that i gather is if no rain on jan-feb, less crowd and better chances of more dives to sipadan island. disadvantage is heavy rain and lower viz. Thanks And yes, the info jan-feb = less crowd is correct but still that depends on luck as well. Even in the peak season, there are chances of low viz and heavy rain too. |
