anyone wanna go backpack to medan in this 21-24 may?
its gonna be cover danau toba-brastagi-and medan city..

i speak indonesian but not hokkien..

i juz went kl-jakarta-jepara-kudus-jogjakarta-solo-kl-melaka in 6 days, was fun yet exhausting,
especially when arrive lcct, was torched by the sun! KL temp was 36degree..

i'm actually looking for another 8 companions to Korea, in fact we are only two at the moment.
Price/complete details you can check as per attached.

We must have at least 10 in order to opt for cheaper price, which is approx. RM1500 (pls refer to get the exact price)
Otherwise, price will be approx. RM1900 per pax.
my flight to korea will be on 13 July, i will be staying there for a week, returning on 20 July.
Those who are interested to join please pm me now, we can set a date and go to travel agency together to sign for the package.
If thing is not going well as planned, i will just close this and travel myself =)

Please find below initery:-

Day 01 Depart / Incheon
*Upon arrival, meet and great by local guide.Transfer to hotel.

Day 02 Incheon/ Hanhyangjung/ Peak Island Water Park (B/L/D) *Hanhyangjung Ginseng Farm ~ experience farm life and witness the production of ginseng milk and taste it * Kimchi-making experience and wearing Hanbok traditional Korean Costume * Shopping at Yeoju Premium Outlet ~ over a hundred top designer labels like Gucci, Burberry, G-Star and more * Enjoy at Peak Island Water Park & Spa ~ with numerous hot springs and amusement facilities which are open year round (Please bring along own swimsuit & cap).

i do not earn even a single cent for this. Reason to open this thread is simply to have another 8 companions traveling together/making new friends and of cuz, to get cheaper price only if we have 10 persons at least.Other than that, it will be all beyond your imagination.

End of the year?
Dont know about langkawi but going to redang the end of the year is a bad plan.
monsoon season maa. some of the places also will be closed.

How about langkawi, got PADI scuba diving school on pulau payar, but its take 6 days to get the open water cert

not sure about langkawi but i went to pangkor once during nov-dis and it was raining everyday.
better check the weather first before planning.

I did my OWD at East Marine, Langkawi. It take only 4days. however, price at East Marine cost me around RM1.3k exclude accommodation. EM is 5star dive center and they cater more to foreigns.

On the other hand at Terangganu or Pahang more cheaper. the course only +- RM990.

Best time to dive in Langkawi (West coast) between june to january. But in contrast at East coast, best time for dive between March and Ogos/Sept.

Planning on trip to South America end of year for about 2 weeks. (any two weeks from early Nov to late Dec).
Initial idea is to cover Peru, Argentina, Brazil and Chile but flexible on trip itinerary. Let me know if you are interested.

Hrm, do you think 2 weeks is enough? the flight would've taken up 2 full days dy. That leaves you with just 12 days to explore.

Looking to plan a backpacking trip in Europe next year. Just looking to see how many people are interested to go. I have some families in different parts in Europe (Sweeden, Scotland, Belgium) so we could plan stop there as well. PM me. We can plan out the details later.

FYI i am currently in US, but taking short vacation in Msia now.
