just wanted to correct you. i work for microsoft

these are the corrections :

1) Ingram Micro is an authorised distributor of Microsoft products. There are boxes of Microsoft products with 'Ingram Micro' labels which are genuine. Some may be fake....i have never come across them before in all my working years in Microsoft.

2) Microsoft products are also produced in the USA. CoA with 'made in USA' may be genuine....not all are fake.

the only difference to differenciate genuine and fake would be the silvery part of the CoA......the pictures showing the difference between genuine and fake silvery part of the CoA are all CORRECT.

Really? I DID NOT work with Microsoft, but I do have come across lots of Microsoft products made for the U.S. market, but NONE of them are Made in USA. All of them are Made in Puerto Rico, be it retail, NFR, or VL disc. How it is Made in USA when Microsoft didn't have pressing facility in the U.S.? Care to enlighten me?

I'll give u a definite answer when i return to work after the Merdeka holidays.

i have come across boxes of Windows 7 which says Made in USA, Made in Puerto Rico and Made in Singapore when i was in the office working. i dont think counterfeit ones will come into the office. Anyway, if you claim that they are fake, please consider this :

If it is really made in Puerto Rico, then why would manufacturers of counterfeit versions put 'Made in USA'??? If the public knows that Windows 7 is made in Puerto Rico, manufacturers of counterfeits will put 'Made in Puerto Rico' and NOT 'Made in USA'. This is because this tactic will be able to deceive the public easily!!!

For example, a Manchester United jersey has a Nike logo on it. Manufacturers of counterfeit jerseys will also put a Nike logo on the jersey! If they put an Adidas logo, the public will know it is a fake and hence, will not buy it!!!
