I have never done any overclock before... What I know about overclock is temporarily increase processors or GPU or other's parts frequency so that it would run faster.......
can someone give me a guide regarding how to overclock my pc? My noob pc spec is below:
Intel Pentium 4 1.6Ghz MSI Socket LGA478 Motherboard 784MB DDR RAM (256 + 512) Nvidia Geforce MX4000 WD 500GB SATA HDD
What I want for is to slightly increasing the Ghz of the processors. My casing does not present any cooling fans except for the thermal and GC fans......
So, any pros can help me to do OC? Thanks....

Nvm. I just wnt to increase for slightly only. In addition, my processors is going to be replaced once sandy bridge products released... So, I am not afraid that the higher temperature would affected my processor lifetime. Just tell me the sequence in bios to do this please. Thanks...
