All h4 bulb are same shape and design so yes it fits AE101 or any car that uses h4.
Phiips h4 h/l is xenon for both low beam and high beam.
For kelvin, philips only have 4200 and 6000k.

Is it a same dimension of 35W and 55w Philips ballast ??? other than 55W do you have any even brighter or high power HID???? if too high will it melt or harm my car's projector ball?

branded HID does not have 55 watt version. They all 35 watt. In my opinion and already test some Chinese brand, 55 watt produce same bright as 35 watt. Why because 55 watt is only prevent warning light on European car. This called CANBUS ballast.
My suggestion is do not use HID more than 55 watt because it will harm your reflector and turn it to yellowish.

Yes i do have D2S or D2R. Actually this are same product and bulb base. I would recommend PHILIPS ULTINON if you like more bright and white.

Ya bro I know about D2R, using them now in my car I'm actually asking about D2S+ which is the latest bulb with the same base as a D2S. The difference is that the newer bulb will not color shift and is closer to around 4100K, giving out slightly more lumens than regular D2S.

Actually, I have a set of Xendrive HB4 matched set, but am planning to retrofit my car with bi-xenon projectors with D2S base. I can't use my HB4 bulbs, but hoping to find a pair of D2S or D2S+ and appropriate wiring harness so that I can use back my Xendrive ballasts. Paid a ransom for the Xendrive from a local seller, so don't want to waste it lol...

Unfortunately i don't have D2S+ in stock, yes its a new version of 85122 so definitely the part number will be 85122+. If you want to wait i will ask one of my partner to see if he have 85122+ after Chinese new year.

As long as you have 35 watt of ballast it will work with any philips bulbs. One thing you have to noted is the connector. If your ballast isn't D2S perhaps you need a converter from KET/AMP to D2S.

The Philips Xendrive ballasts have different types of connectors compared to the those Chinese/Taiwan HID sets (I got a few sets of those lol) so they can't be interchangeable. I really like the Philips ballasts as they produce the strongest and most stable current IMO. Right now I've got to decide whether to sell the whole Philips set or keep just the ballasts. If you have a D2S connector that will fit a Xendrive ballast do let me know?

For connector, actually its easy to change it from AMP to KET or even D2S to AMP/KET or vice versa. If your local shop sell them you can modify it your self.


You can just buy the ballast, As long as it is same watt.

For everyone's information, I bought a set from KlubMobil, everything was fine, transaction was smooth, communication was adequate. Problem came when delivery, I received a mail from Poslaju, saying that my item arrived at Pos Sepang (near LCCT) and it is being held at customs.

I have 3 choices, collect it myself, assign Pos Malaysia to send it to me at cost of RM49.80 or assign someone to collect it for me. Either way I am still subjected to TAX.

Not wanting to face any more issues, I drove there to collect, at the place (it located right after LCCT airport), at the entrance had to register myself (visitor's pass) to drive in, then the first stop was the parcel registration counter, handed my letter and they gave me more documentations.

With all the documents I had to go to another counter to collect the item, where they withheld my visitor pass. Once the parcel is given to me, i had to take it to the Customs counter for inspection.

At the Customs counter, I was asked open the parcel and declare its value. They also demanded an invoice. An invoice was attached to the parcel at value of $10 (hardly logical). I did not have any other invoice so they asked any transaction (bank/paypal transfer) printout. I did not have that either. I told them honestly i paid USD120 + shipping USD40 and offered to log in there and print out but they said it's ok after talking to them for a while. Few minutes later they came back with a slip, asking me to return to the same counter collect my visitor's pass. Then i was allowed to leave with my parcel with a Customs release form (I threw away the wrapping paper). For some reason, luckily there were no tax (previously I was told it should be about 10% of the value).

On the way out in my car, when I was returning the visitor's pass, i was asked to show what I have collected and the Customs release form. Showed them my parcel and they asked for the wrappers where there's a serial number. I did not have it. Luckily they allowed me to leave.

Just yesterday i managed to install the lights. Everything's ok so far. Working as it should.

Point is, this is hardly worth USD40 for shipping, for all the trouble and risk of being taxed. Nevertheless, I still thank the seller, but I just thought I should make this clear to everyone.

Normally they don't investigate your parcel if it marked as gift and total is below $50. I did post several kits to Malaysia and did not get any custom trouble but thanks for the review

D1S definitely bulb only because the car already have ballast. 4200k is yellow, 6000k is a little bit yellowish. PM SENT!

Yes except this one is HID conversion kit. Conversion kit has 2 bulb and 2 ballast.
For BMW and most modern european cars, it has factory stock ballast and you can replace the bulb only.

hi bro, do you have a sample of the H4 magnetic glare on a wall ? It will be installed on a non-clear aka tampered glass like a Proton Wira. Been searching high and low for a solution and trying not to go back t halogens. Cheapo magnetic bulbs still giving bad glare to oncoming drivers.
