It is hard to tell which proc fit for your notebook just like that, just install the CPUZ and check what is the motherboard chipset then we can check what FSB it can support by then you can decide which proc you want.

not all the laptops can upgrade their CPUs..it's depend on which model u are using...i have done it for customers nearly 4 years oledi

Ibook is impossible...M-life depend on which model? what's is your CPU type? centrino? dual core?c2d?

Just install cpu-z then find out what is ur motherboard chipset and socket then we can know which proc can be upgraded.

If built-in proc, so can u upgrade? for checking yes, but upgrade, u need more experience by real practice over the time, not just depend on software, dude.. just see the model u oledi can know can upgrade or not...or atleast u need to google it see some review as well...
