I've think to buy SC2 but I'm living outside now and using digi broadband right now.
any one here have experience using Digi broadband to play online games?
I'm wondering about the speed whether can support the SC2 and the bandwitch (downloaded and uploaded data) is how much normally to run a set of games?

Try to ping some local servers and see if the average latency falls below 100ms. If it does for a long period, I'd say you're good to go

The upload and download wont be much, but the main thing is ping.

Dont expect much from a wireless connection. Might be very laggy.

Used my digi smart plan (with the HTC phone package), it was okay, not too lag, but it did get disconnected once mid-game. But I stay in a location where digi is quite weak, so go figure... ^^;;

Seriously, games just wont work on wireless.

Unless you like laggy games and dc often.

digi broadband = wireless since it's not connected to phone port or network port... rolleyes.gif
anyway when using wireless broadband...expect some spikes once in a while but still be able to enjoy the game especially campaign biggrin.gif

Sometimes I'll use my Nokia phone as a 3g modem and play SC2 with DiGi (im in PJ so there's HSDPA coverage). Ping time averages 190-230. It can get laggy once a while, but most of the time it's fine smile.gif

I can BFBC2 and TF2 fine with it I don't see why you can't play SC2. Just don't expect pings like a fixed line network. At best you'll hover around the 100ms region.

It doesn't lag, but it just spikes a lot. It wont spike as much if you're not the host of the game. Streamyx is still the best so far AFAIK.

i'm using wireless also. P1wimax.
1.2mb package. No lag at all when i'm using it alone.
but did feel some spike when my other 2 housemate
using the line together(no download). still playable.
