Other banks usually charge an annual fee of RM 8 for the ATM they issued to you.
So, it's either way but I still prefer Maybank's style. At least no need to pay annual fee and plan your withdrawal well.
Four free withdrawals a month is no problem, just have to plan your finance every week and of course, the expensive and unexpected bills can be paid with credit cards first. Besides, how many of us right now, would still rush to the ATM in order to buy something? So, it's either way but I still prefer Maybank's style. If they do that for personal accounts, I will make sure I emptied out my balances every month and put into other banks. Whats the use of having balances in a bank when you can't monitor it online? If the majority of us do this, they will lose more. RM 120/yr is too much to pay for something that is supposed to be a free service,
