Wanna ask u guys ... is it necessary to clean the cache after u had log off the website ? i now using opera ... kind of afraid opera got any bug ... and leaked info outside ...
*
I don't think it would leak to outside unless your browser has very serious flaw
It is, however recommended to clear your cache if you were using public computer.

Yeah...My company pay me via Maybank too so it's comfortable for me to use Maybank2u

And I've just got my Maybank Credit Card so it's really nice to manage everything in a single banking site interface smile.gif

What makes you guys think that Mayabank2u is insecure and inferior to other online banking services?

I'm comfortable with it so far and haven't had any major issue yet
I've been using it for ages and it does just what I intended to.

Refer to the merchant's website for payment method

Most of the cases you'd need to have a credit card

Now Maybank2u offers online TT too, but never tried it and I guess the transaction fee is not cheap

Payment instruction sent from one bank to another by electronic means, either SWIFT or telex. This is generally the method of choice for urgent or high-value payments.

Citibank sure does make things much more complicated. Here are the rules for choosing your new Citibank online banking user id and password:

I believe it happened because of the fraud case. But I think this measurement is totally crap.

Believe it or not I've spent one hour scratching my head thinking for a password. And most of the time I can't remember it when I log-in. It brings so many problems to the users sweat.gif

With that, Citibank customer service would have to put up with more "my account has been locked" problems. Good luck to them.

I'm fine with most except the "cannot have more than 3 consecutive characters" rule. It's the funniest rule i've ever seen in public websites and I don't understand how it helps citibank become more secure.

QUOTE(amenlo9 @ Oct 29 2006, 11:58 PM)
what is PAC or TAC?
*
TAC is a kind of security code for Maybank2u, and PAC is the same thing for public bank.

Every time you commit to a transaction in your online banking interface, you've to request for one, and it will be sent to your mobile phone, so that you can key in to the website in order to confirm the transaction.

Why it is important? Let's say somebody hacked your Maybank2u, the hacker knows your login/password, and he can transfer all the money to his account. But without TAC (which will only be sent to the account owner's phone number), he cannot commit to the transaction.

TAC required for Online Bill Payment

With effect from Saturday 11 November 2006, Maybank2u.com registered users will require TAC for these Online Bill Payment transactions:

1. Open Payment - you will need TAC to pay any payee/bill under "Open Payment".
2. Bill Registration - you will need TAC to add a new bill to your "Registered Payment".

You do not require TAC for bills already saved in your "Registered Payment" list. However, you will need TAC the next time you want to register a bill.

You can request for TAC at Maybank2u.com and receive it by SMS, by registering your preferred mobile number at Kawanku ATMs. TAC is also available at Kawanku ATMs and through Maybank Phone Banking.

Would like to know if there's online portal for direct access credit card? Is it done via CIMBclicks? If yes, how do get started?

Man, I've to monitor my expenses everyday, if there's no online services it's really a big trouble to me
