depend on what you target on. if you need full performance up on all the time as long as you turn on the machine, then second choice. for me, mostly I turn on 24/7, power saving is important for me but I need the balance on performance when needed too. so I will choose Llano but now I waiting for Trinity this year. still no news yet  sad.gif  sad.gif

still better off wit cheap intel CPU + cheap GPU.

u'll get similar if not slightly better gaming performance, & much more superior in non gaming apps.

depend on everyone personal needs. for me, as I said power usage is important for me. APU idle still achieved better than Intel according from the tomshardware reviews. furthermore, the comparison is taking A8-3870K, which is already AMD's fastest APU, while I won't buy K edition. I already using Intel many years, I want to give try AMD APU next.

it's weird to see how little overclock ad so much to power consumption.

starcraft, dota, cs:s ... Llano should be no problem.
i'm expecting that diablo 3 will run without a hitch as well since the requirement looks like decently low.

like all blizzard games, it doesn't take a whole of of horse power.
they hav great engine.

diablo 3 is announced for may 15th btw.

it is not that they have great engine, it is the graphics in D3 are quite dated compared to todays standard. So this has nothing about so great their engine is.

I am positive that AMD Llano could play this game at decent settings, since its graphics is soo dated.

to be fair, a great game engine & graphic doesn't mean render in the most realistic fashion ever.
take for example games like trine, fable, starcraft.
they r not the most realistic graphic, but it's stylish artwork & it works.
