It will lose no doubt however those game are tested with no aa and 1050 res so i wouldnt really call it accurate.

And the site state p state is not working properly for the cpu it doesnt turbo up according to ppl translating it on overclock.net.

Keke i think owikh talking to me lol, well i do accept the fact bulldozer is slower than sandy bridge nothing probably will change that...

Just i dont think in my daily life will be affect by it, since i do play game at ultra high res and no having super duper high benchmark score doesnt necessary mean better gaming experience as i found out with my quad sli setup.

By the rate the tech world is progressing most ppl that visit and buy new tech never keep their gear for longer than 1 year....

It does seem like when ocing bulldozer will require huge amount of power draw. It was mentioned with his 4.8ghz that power draw is much higher. Wonder if crosshair v 8+2 phase can handle it.....

It also pretty much confirm that while it does look like a 8 core cpu the arc of it makes it function like a 4 core one hence the performance, maybe some specific recompiling is needed to take advantage of it, but then again with the big boy intel sticking to its age old proven design is any developer willing to spend the time and money to write software that will take advantage of it if that is the case?? sad.gif

Added on October 10, 2011, 6:20 pmSeems like some guys found the issue with the low performance, which is wut i suspect in the first place kinda.

The L1 shared cache isnt being recognised properly and causes some error that lead to a lower than expected performance, seems like a patch is on the way but will it make it in time for release? This is also most likely why running super pi will cause bulldozer to BSOD in most cases.

Even the new x79 chipset wont be in mass production it seems most board manufacturer deem it to expensive to gather general publix interest and the additional core wont appeal most buyers.

Sandy bridge is just too good in performance and price.... in this trend intel can delay ivy bridge for at least 2 more years and still be on par with bulldozer ; ; orz

its about equal on high res but some site tested min fps and some games min fps was lower than 2600k.

basically any game that is gpu intense its on par games on older engine like source its very slow.

In euro the price of the 8150 already drop due to the poor performance, guess it will be adjusted shortly in malaysia as well.
