QUOTE(LittleBear @ May 11 2012, 11:52 AM) That's sad. The FX8150 is selling at RM900+ & performance wise it is on par with a Phenom II X6.. Bulldozer is the reason I but my CHVF mobo. But, after that, it's totally disappointing. Now I'm stuck with my Phenom x2 560 BE which is stable after unlock the extra core and achieve 3.8Ghz. But now, thinking of jumping to Intel due to better performance of SB and IB. I really regret for upgrading my mobo first without waiting the Bulldozer benchmark. And it's a lifetime lesson for me

QUOTE(Boss262 @ May 25 2012, 12:26 AM) Should have read it the review first before buying amd FX series processor, now my RM370 aren't worth the performance, kinda felt cheated with all the havoc that amd made. Lesson learn. What's wrong dude? Read review after buy? You should research first before buy. As for me, step up to AM3+ mobo without waiting FX released. That's the stupid thing I done.

QUOTE(Boldnut @ May 25 2012, 08:39 AM) U just have to wait AMD plans to retire AM3+ then u know which CPU the top ones. U got an expensive mobo there, changing to Intel gonna cost u a lot of money. it is not like anyone wanna jump to AM3+ these days. resale value of AMD3+ board aint gonna be high lol. Save that money upgrade GPU is better. Ya, that's why I just to hold my itchiness to jump to Intel. With budget for new intel cpu+intel mobo could cost me a new decent psu+hdd and top up abit by selling my gpu, can get a decent mid end gpu. Or I could just focus to gpu and a decent psu. But too bad, June and December is where the time I use money the most. If not, HD 7970 come already wo.
