any one have result of fx4100 vs i3

interest to know since there in same price range
*
Here you go...
It does not show you a direct comparison between the 4100 vs the i3...
But you should really know that from the graph, its weaker than a Phenom II x4 980 black edition and sometimes even weaker than the a8-3850! cry.gif

I believe this is just a learning curve for AMD...

Maybe after piledriver they will become better...

Frankly, AMD seriously, have to change their strategy.
They always revise server architecture to desktop.
Their server processors are very powerful, but when comes to desktop, they will fail as desktop is more on single threaded performance.

Look at the insane power consumption.
There is a serious design flaw in BD.
*
Seems AMD been pushing the "should-be-95W" proc to 125W because of "don't-want-to-lose-badly" in the benchmarks.

I don't know if this been posted before, I came upon this stating the real culprit could be the test kit motherboard, the Crosshair V Formula.

Apparently true....have to wait for our own in-house LYN benchmarks with different boards and compare

Apparently ASUS CH5's BIOS is being blamed for the performance drop, we will see later how it goes

Asrock 990FX Extreme4 already shown us that BD can rival the 2600k in gaming, awaiting other boards

Based on the reviews WITH the ASUS Crosshair V formula mobo, definitely not worth it BUT apparently when tested with OTHER mobos, results are surprisingly good for gaming

So just wait for other ppl around the world to test it with other boards
