Formis Resources To Acquire Stake In Ho Hup
Sep 25 13 Formis Resources Berhad (KLSE:FRB) is still looking to acquire more shares in Ho Hup Construction Company Berhad (KLSE:HOHUP). Formis Resources cuuremtly hold 20% stake in Ho Hup. Datuk Gan Nyap Liou, Chief Executive Officer of Formis Resources, said on September 24, 2013, "Based on the prospects of Ho Hup, we would love to increase our stake in the company because we have a lot of confidence in what we can do, and I think Ho Hup’s shareholders and directors will probably feel the same way." Formis is considering the merits of making Ho Hup a subsidiary. “We won’t rule it out. But at the moment, we can’t say very much yet. We are now looking at the potential, the shareholder mix, the management team, and where we can help internally. If we can do much more [for Ho Hup] internally and add value, we will increase our stake. If we don’t think we can add value, we will then treat it as an investment asset. As with any investment, we will decide if we want to dispose of it or keep it. Funding should not be a problem. We have shareholders to go to and we have a line of bankers that are ever willing to listen to what we intend to do and so far, they have been very supportive of what we have done,” Gan added. http://www.theedgemalaysia.com/in-the-edge...-in-ho-hup.html |

QUOTE(UFO-ET @ Oct 2 2013, 07:55 PM) Yup. Fully agreed."Safe Bets" could be in "Bukit Jalil - Pavilion 2" area AND "Equine Park to the Atmosphere" area. From Aeon Jusco until Giant @ the Atmosphere (...Sierra 16) along jalan Putra Permai, we can easily notice lots of unoccupied shops/offices. But do remember that besides MBB, now we can see HLB and PBB etc open their branch in Equine Boulevard, 2 International Schools........ And, proposed S.K.I.P Highway, proposed KIDEX & U/C MEX highway would benefit surrounding areas as well and timing is another factor to be considered..... Just my little opinion S.K.I.P, MEX, KIDEX map ![]() Equine Boulevard ![]() MEX ![]() ![]() |

QUOTE(KChooz @ Oct 3 2013, 02:13 PM) Actually buyers can buy two small units and merge them.....sell separately. The biggest unit at 1300sf is a bit hard to swallow...(bor lui $$ ah). Anyway, Congratulation to all Aurora SOVO buyers! This post has been edited by nck: Oct 3 2013, 02:52 PM |

QUOTE(Actchan @ Oct 3 2013, 09:54 PM) Wow.....how supportive they are! Frankly speaking, those previous Jalil Sutera buyers had had the nightmare last time....! Their confident to Ho Hup is coming back liao.... Between, developer told that EF (HLB, Alliance, UOB, MBSB.....etc) has yet to tie up; therefore SPA wont be signed so soon..... Buyers pray hard.....! |

With PAV 2 mall and price/psf within rm1000psf, it is acceptable.
Spoke to SA, Hohup will be launching its serviced apartment early next year prior to Malton. Let's say a studio size 600sf x RM750psf*= RM450k.... Just need to get ready some bullets if want to play..... (* SOVO RM682-740psf with NO car park allocated/given. ) I still remember that Hohup's 2sty shop-office (BUA 3.6k, LA 24'x75', intermediate) near Jalil Sutera sold RM498k niah.....! It is my point of view. |

If Tower A SOVO is for HH to test the market n the response is good.... Don't expect low Psf for serviced apt.....too greedy now!
Few "small" units were released........ For EF, only MBSB for the time being |

QUOTE(Actchan @ Oct 5 2013, 11:05 PM) Btw for those really keen on this area can try so , block b already prepared , sovo also . if Tower B SOVO increase by 10%Pricing sure 5-10% up from block a , but 454sqf-694sqf unit size Let's assume Min RM750psf (vs Block A min RM682psf):- BUA-454sf x min RM750psf = RM340k......... BUA-694sf x min RM750psf = RM520k......... ....Small BUA pays High PSF........ |
