Are these just small branches or will this be a huge finance hub? If soho that means they will take a few floors or something like that?
So the bank renting/purchasing a few floors of soho each for this purpose?

Agreed, the link 1 does not have enough shops to make it an attraction. Same issue with esplanade. Most Bukit Jalil people at the moment prefer to head to Sri Petaling where you have banks, all kinds of food, groceries etc.
Need scale for shoplots to do well or super location. But I think Sri Petaling might be oversupply once all the new ones vp. There are so many! However the new shops do looks very premium. Lots of glass like showroom.

Waaaaaa good news indeed! Great branding "hint" in the official name! No chaplang mall in the plans then. By committing their Pavilion reputation on the name, Malton will all out make this mall high class kao kao.
GREAT NEWS! !!!

Bukit Jalil able to surpass Mont Kiara and Bangsar??? One can only hope!!! This makes me super excited as someone already vested in Bukit Jalil.
Largest mall in a single wing lar, which is the truth. Smart marketing though probably with asterisk ***under one roof*** in very small font lol. But size not everything lar. Interior design, open space, high ceiling, classy Al fresco area etc all equally important. Hope Malton can deliver on those too.

QUOTE(UFO-ET @ Sep 18 2014, 06:07 PM) Ya many factors attribute to the success But size is a minimum requirement, vital to me Surpass MK & Bangsa? IMO susah... The high class social profile is not easy to build, it takes time, perhaps another 20 - 40 yrs Who knows? Maybe can match those areas in terms of psf costs in 10 years time? Given how kl south is strategically located between kl centre and putrajaya. Assuming Cyberjaya and putrajaya grow at sustained high rates, the Klang Valley center of gravity may shift from kl-pj to kl- kl south with Bukit Jalil the crown jewel center of gravity. Of course this is just my wishful thinking lar hahahaha.

QUOTE(UFO-ET @ Sep 25 2014, 02:02 AM) LCG was 1st mentioned by Ho Chin Soon 10 years ago, he predicted that LCG started fr KL - Bangsar - PJ - Kinrara. However when I met him 5/6 yrs ago, he says that that is no longer correct, I do agree as I&P fails to lift up the name of Bandar Kinrara, poor planning indeed. IMO, Bandar Kinrara only achieves 50% success, it's a shame... I always wondered why despite Kinrara's strategic location, it's not that 'ong'. Sometimes marketing and positioning very important. Unlucky also because See Hoy Chan very gung ho that time promoting Damansara. In my opinion if Kinrara was handled property, it's actually in a more prime location than Damansara. Hopefully Bukit Jalil can take over as the centre of gravity for KL South and make up for Kinrara's disappointment. This post has been edited by ivanpei: Sep 25 2014, 08:59 AM

I saw the Ho Hup Aurora ads on iproperty mention sovo 650 psf and serviced apartments 800 psf.
Malton one no idea. Likely higher than Ho hup, but how much higher? Brand name makes a difference. Pavilion Residences Bukit Jalil, Wa damn high class sia.

MK will always have the expat catchment due to the international schools. I hope BJ will eventually have a more Bangsar style vibe with hip eateries and drinking establishments. But that's just my wish lar, not sure will happen or not. At worst becoming like Damansara Perdana also not too bad.
Kidex seems to help alot in getting the PJ traffic to BJ. Kidex, PV BJ can really turn this area into a top destination. Everywhere is near for BJ, Putrajaya/Cyber is close due to Mex, so is KL City. The only problem is the Damansara/PJ connectivity. Kidex will definitely help alot.

Will BJC project be affected by the Economy? Or will Malton and Ho Hup die die launch and stick to their deadline? I think Ho Hup safe d since already cleared off their shops and Sovos but Malton still got Service Apartments to go. Can completed by 2018 as promised?
