Haha....its how much u are willing to take and learn. Thats why I can easily beat people who are much more experienced in years thn me. Its how fast I can learn things. =X

sad to say.. without a year of working experience..u can't expect huge pay rises..better stick around until u pass one year...

Not really over staff, but they changed their shifting structures, which I was thinking why didnt they do it before? I did management in man power, and I don't see the problem. Imagine instead of 8 hours, they already biasa work 10 hours or more, so you put 12 hours duty on them, you can cut out 2 shifts, cut 2 shifts, place them in the other shifts where they can cover up the ones who are standing alone. Then, if you cut 2 shifts, its equivilant to 1 day work, so...there you go...voila! 2 days off, the ones who are working can still cover the lack of manpower ma....hoteliers are used to it...its just tiring sometimes, bt yea...=)

lol....a front office assistant who does not even have 1 year experience in hotel teaching the management about manpower planning? They'll be offended. It depends on occupancy and many other factors. U need 1 year to evaluate things for a new forecast. I did this cuz I already see the turnover rate of my hotel, the occupancy rate, and many other factors. Even last time when I did the manpower planning, it was based on 60-80% occupancy rate during studies.
