I am thinking of getting a fight stick for my PS3 ... found this 2 stick to be the most top rated, would like to hear some reviews from you all before I really purchase it.

Hmm, i tried a few fight stick before, but never the Qanba Wireless...

Before I made my purchase, my final stick was between Madcatz SSF4 TE and HORI RAP V3-SA. I bought the HRAPV3-SA

Why did you choose the Hori stick wor? Any specific reason?

Hate both sticks, buttons at the sides / front are a hindrance to me. HORI Real Arcade Pro (HRAP) series work best for me.

My advice is get a feel of the sticks and see which one suit you best.

I agree with LSD, since I like the feeling of the HRAP V3-SA, that why I get it... The overall design of SSF4 was not that good. Well, i feel that the HRAP joystick is better in term of smoothness, the button feeling are the same, n i feel the SSF4 is a bit hollowed... (the only drawback of the HRAP V3-SA is the position of the start button, sometime when play I accidentally push that button)
But again, thats individual taste... Give it a try when u at the shop, i dont think the owner mind if u really wanna buy it

Have not tried Qanba Q3 before. Currently own a Madcatz TE and didn't find any problem with it.

Dont get those. Get the normal edition, which is good enough.

TE for me 9/10
HRAP 7/10

Both are using the same Sanwa brand joystick and push buttons.
So, replacing the buttons will be easy.

Pricing wise, Qanba seems to be a better deal compared to the Madcatz TE controller-
You can get Qanba WIRELESS for just ~RM400.
Madcatz does not offer WIRED controllers.

Get Qanba Q3.. Is feel's better, more solid, fully sanwa joystick/button and most important it heavy enough.. Hori V3 SA is a nice Arcade Stick but it too light..

I am personally using the TE and I loved it

Why not consider Qanba Q4?

Heard a lot of good stuff about it (except the Start button which is not Sanwa.. but can be swap.. it's a Start button only afterall).

Qanba is made in China. But the Q3/Q4 models uses Japanese buttons and stick....only the PCB are made locally.

Wooden box...so pretty solid and stable when you're playing I would say.

If you're serious gamer....always go for the Wired arcade stick.
Casual gamer and don't like wires dangling around....wireless should be good enough.

lol...i was also think about the same thing! My dream arcade stick also is the VS one, but the price...ZZZ.... eh what? "collection" u say? how many arcade sticks that u have already?? i'm feel jealous of u... for hori, i like the UMVC3 one, but other models also cannot be forget.. i've read most of the arcade stick thread, and most of people look so easily to get TE version with price RM300~RM500... i wonder how they can get it? even when i wandering at lowyat plaza and ask to one of seller there, he said that the arcade stick need to order maa....so which shop that sell the in-stock TE arcade stick? can you tell me where?

I think TE vanilla ver can get it second hand, take ur time to find it (i prefer vanilla TE)

that new TE...i hope some sellers will sell it at their shop... i don't prefer 2nd hand items, as it cannot make me satisfy more, unless the owner just use it for less than two month, and not frequent... about the hori fighting edge, if i was a rich man like Bill Gates, without saying any words, I JUST GRAB IT! oh please TE version, be mine..... i'm really fall in love with ya....i'm ready with RM300-RM400 cash in my hand right now, just to get this sick fight stick!!! someone please make my dream become true!
