Found out from Engadget (or Gizmodo, not sure) video presentation from Nokia saying that Symbian^3 is Qt ready hmm.gif. But Symbian^4 will use fully Qt apps. Rite? smile.gif

Something we’d like to point out is that Nokia has done an awesome job working with local content providers to make local content more integrated and readily accessible on its devices. During the N8 preview, we were showed dedicated apps from TV3 and 8TV to allow N8 users to watch catchup episodes of lcoal shows on their devices. On top of that you can also watch catchup episodes on CNN, E! Entertainment, Paramount pictures and National Geographic.

I found this to be very interesting rclxms.gif Don cha guys think?

Nokia Hires Pamela Anderson to Promote the N8

QUOTE
The camera is a big selling point for the N8, and Nokia plans to draw attention to it in a big way: by hiring Pamela Anderson and Ed Westwick (of Gossip Girl fame) to star in a short movie shot entirely with the Nokia N8’s camera.

Punca

Wonder if there're any local independent film maker would like to do the same hmm.gif

Nokia N8 officially for sale last week of September, UK shops October 1st

QUOTE
At last, an official date for Nokia's N8 flagship Symbian^3 handset. This one's been a long time coming, featuring the first of two major Symbian updates meant to bring Nokia's smartphone division in line with the competition. Look for it in the "last week of September" at Nokia's on-line shops for £429 SIM free, or free with £35 per month contract. Otherwise, it'll hit the UK high street shops on October 1st. See the full announcement after the break.

£ 429 = RM 2,060.97 huh.gif

Want'd to buy N900 actually, but the goodies are not as much as N8 biggrin.gif

QUOTE(pirateguy @ Sep 13 2010, 10:24 AM)
N900 sucks. Nobody buys it, and had to be promoted in N8 threads to steal the spotlight.
*

Hahaha... kinda true tongue.gif

Like codyx always say there is no lousy phone there is only lousy owners. Even before nokia n8 thread there is already many owners but only a handful knows how to use it. For me both phone have their own pros and cons like every other model and brand in the market

No offense to you or anyone if you do not know how to use it you will say it sux like every single task in the world. Some say their job sux life sux because they do not know how to enchance their own life.

Even with N8 after 1 or 2 weeks u do not know how to utlize u say it sux too then change phone again
*

Yes. It depends on yer own judgement and capabilities. But for me, every new product will always be better than it's predecessor elder models biggrin.gif

Yeah i agree so lets be optimistic in every phone. Nokia N8 have its flaws too but more advantages over certain models. The main selling point its the camera feature and overall performance.
It gives a normal user everything he/she needs in one with the latest technology in hardware and software.

Exactly icon_rolleyes.gif

QUOTE(BuFung @ Sep 13 2010, 10:57 AM)
I believe any phone company do not expect the user need a stiff learning curve to learn the capability of a device...

ppl buy, easy to use, user friendly, get application easily.. that is...  if the market have to depend on ppl who "know how" to use it.. go google/forum around to get most of the functions of a phone out, that company can close shop already.....

after all... not many ppl sitting in front of the computer looking for all this.. phone.. just a phone for them.... there are much more better thing to do in their life instead of every minutes sitting in front of the PC install this n that...

that's one of the reason Iphone selling so well...  easy, fast, user friendly...

those r lousy owner??  there r only lousy products....
*

Yes, I agree with u nod.gif
