I enjoy n8's design very much, but seeing it in pictorials for too long makes it look boring now..again, it's nokia's godlike strategy to make anticipating customers jump ship..the final decision now depends on what price they will whip out into the market

QUOTE(BBXiong @ Sep 8 2010, 12:35 AM) well, in the official statement from the nokia's whatever manager(cant remember) from Radiance's email, it says that "we will present a new N8 for your own use"...i believe that translate as "we give u N8, u help build more hype out there" one point there is that the trouble to change battery for people who normally has two batteries. Im ok with it since im not a heavy duty user Added on September 7, 2010, 11:36 pm but i want replaceable battery |

QUOTE(Deswin @ Sep 9 2010, 04:01 PM) i tried it on my friend's 5800, it does restrict smooth movements (in other words not so shiok) but im not sure if it affects touch sensitivity since 5800 uses resistive touch. maybe IS offered new products for touch screens? havent checked IS website for a while coz i tore my IS from n85 away coz it becomes yellow and yucky looking after a year |

QUOTE(BBXiong @ Sep 9 2010, 04:26 PM) i tot that's being confirmed already?? hmm..need to dig some news already if the screen is already scratch resistant then there's no need to crack our head of which type of protector to put in right? unless if nokia used monkey glass instead of gorilla glass maybe that's for when we play/record HD video, cos when i google, this is the result » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Added on September 9, 2010, 3:27 pm but matte type screen protector would normally slightly degrade the brightness one right? |

QUOTE(BBXiong @ Sep 9 2010, 05:20 PM) lol i think is mainly cos Nokia too stingy on dev cost for something new like Android..and they too proud to use something from other people? i think that they just want to make use of their own OS they developed for such a long time coz the funding for that cant just be thrown into the sea. they're not too proud to use something from others, AMOLED is Samsung (which is also a competitor) |
