Just done my Waja CPS major service and timing belt change at 83000km at authorised service center. Cost at RM907.25. My ride was out at march 2008. The both warning light of hand brake & ABS warning lamp also illuminated while drving. Ask the service center to check. They inform me my ABS pump is malfunction and need to replace. The cost is RM6000.00. I am trying to seek a better alternative to solve this problem. Any of u guys got recommendation? I am waiting for the new Inspira too regards

QUOTE(sphiroth @ Oct 26 2010, 10:07 AM) My next car (maybe after 2015 ) will be MPV + a small 2nd car (if got budget). Braking is not affected. Anyway, I found out that I tend to drive more aggressively when the ABS is working compared when its not (ABS light on). Maybe what I read about ABS few years back that it give 'impression' that the car is safer to be driven fast tend to be true Get the Fiesta. Cheapest dual clutch (DSG) fitted car in the market ABS in Waja tend to have this problem after 3-4 years (most of my friend got this problem). Hot CPS engine and also removing header heatshield may contribute to faster malfunction in my case. I don't see the point of using CVT in an aggressive looking Inspira (Lancer) since its more to comfort than spirited. So sphiroth, so u also face this abs malfunction problem, I wonder how many owners already got this problem? I am trying to solve this as I also tend to drive more agressively with abs. If it's proton fault, we try to get proton to fix it for us free under EWP. IF proton cannot fix this might as well my coming Inspira request to come without ABS la. I dont want this to be the pain in my neck, maybe get a better discount getting my Inspira w/o ABS - less part , less assembly required.
