Yes. It have life span. For abs system, brake fluid is important. Just change your brake fluid by following the millage. ABS pump cannot be service nor change the replay. Cause for campro MK-20 or MK-60, the abs pump relay was build inside together. Not like perdana type which have separate relay. It not cheap to replace as it cost RM6000 for the abs pump. The life span for it really hard to tell. Some no problem and some spoiled after 4 years.

Yes. Maintaining brake fluid is definitely important for ABS. Every 30k km is compulsory to flush the brake fluid. Changing brake fluid and bleeding brake system is different thing. Brake fluid also one of the service part should be change as is also play a important part. Brake fluid will get dirty and become "thick" when using for a long time. So it will stuck the fluid passage inside the abs pump as the fluid passage inside the abs pump is so small. Beside changing the brake fluid, make sure the brake fluid we bought is 100% original brake fluid while not imitation brake fluid.

Ooooo...what is the different in process between brake bleeding & flush brake flush?

Last time i change my brake fluid the mechanic jack up my car, un-screw lug nut behind rim, and press repeatedly until reservoir tank empty. Then the mechanic topap new brake oil and also press repeatedly. The question popped in my mind is this process call brake flush or brake bleeding..im confuse.

Brake bleeding is removing the air bubble in the brake system. Once you feel brake pedal become spongy, is time to make brake bleeding.

Brake fluid flushing mean flush the old brake fluid and replace with new brake fluid. Normally when do brake flushing, it do brake bleeding as well.

In your case, the mechanic is changing the brake fluid but not really a correct procedure. If follow the correct procedure, the owner will be bankrupt as alot brake fluid is needed.

I don't recommended any brake fluid. Cause so far I only using 1 brank brake fluid. Hyrax Dot 4.

Went to Proton, Centre of Excellence today. Fixing my ABS and power window.
Spent almost 5 hours waiting over there..
Excellence? I say B*** S**t on the service.
ABS pump need to be replaced, but no stock, hav to wait them get the part and contact me again for another appointment. I'm ok with it since the pump is not something cheap either.
BUT, for the window part.. headache man!!
Scratched my door edge (inner part), 3cm long.. suspect scratched by their boot. Luckily manage to brush off with soft99, but still notice few spot clearly. Can feel it with ur finger & nail..
The window problem frm minor bcome worst! The "ring ring" sound when open & close window.
Didnt install the window properly, the rubber track (outside) went behind the glass when ejected, can eject the window glass, but the glass cut the rubber..
Front bumper bottom part, got 5 spot black sh*tty grease oil, can see the black sh*tty grease clearly when stand infront the car.. soft99 cleaning again

I don't want to wait for another 2-3 hours for the window repair, so I went to nearby SC to fix the window rubber part for temporary since I'll going back to replace my ABS pump.
The SC mechanic asked me claim respray for the scratch, I said forget it, later my door cant close at all
The mechanic also said they didnt install the clip+glass and the arm properly, that might be the reason the "ring ring" sound appear..

I did an emergency brake just now. But what i get is i cant press the pedal down, my car klak klak klak klak got these sound... is abs? or spoil already? Manual waja owner, your clutch is hard? and also changing gear is it harder then other normal cars?

Same here...clutch not heavy & gear engagement smooth.

I have question thoo..can we lower the clutch pedal? Like when i drive my cousin Satria GTi, his clutch is so low even when step the pedal feel like dont step the pedal..but the gear can shift & can feel engagement when balancing clutch on hill.

If can adjust now it more worth getting short shifter IMO..

Yaa actually i surprise too when they said take my old tyre rm50 per pc. Most tyre shop take my tyre rm25 per pc.

This few day i tried my tyre & i made a conclusion base my personal judgement & experience with yokohama R1. Dont bash me k..im not a tyre expert...huhuhu.

Personal Comment:
Good overall road tire for daily drive. On dry tarmac grip is good enough, i drive on 'S' curve road it holds very well but when u push it too hard it start too lose grip, that time i drive more than 130kmj . Maybe because it still new..dunno. The tyre feel a bit heavy though, maybe because last time im using 45 series so pickup i feel a little heavy. About the noise it produce sound like fan..but it not to obvious. Still acceptable. For me, control & performance is worth it in exchange tyre noise. About the driving comfort this tyre is the best, u can feel this tyre not hard.

But when wet this tyre shine like detergent cleaner super hero, it have grip on corner, cut puddle and my steering dont even flinch, it give me confident in raining.

Last but not least, i very like this tyre, it have good dry & wet grip, nice tread design, comfort & it knock up a notch in my car handling and look.

Huhu..mana ada expert..it take a long time to build a sentence and using the right grammar.

I didnt ask about 17" tyre price. But i do believe it dont go far from 16" price. But i will ask coz maybe this afternoon i go back at them to do on wheel balancing. 170kmj very shaking

Im currently driving gen2 cps.
My 1st service i used shell semi syn 10w-40 for my car. I think its good..less noise and good performance.
thn 2nd service i used petronas fully syn 15w-50. I feel the noise is lousy n also the performance is not up to satisfaction..going to do my 3rd 10k service now..
Just want to know if its recommended to use the 5w-40.(petronas syntium 3000) 

Yup..kl/rawang/klang area offer very good price. At least different around 30 to 40 ringgit per pc.
Hi...not sifuu here but try to help,

Just done my Waja CPS major service and timing belt change at 83000km at authorised service center. Cost at RM907.25. My ride was out at march 2008.

The both warning light of hand brake & ABS warning lamp also illuminated while drving. Ask the service center to check. They inform me my ABS pump is malfunction and need to replace. The cost is RM6000.00.

I am trying to seek a better alternative to solve this problem. Any of u guys got recommendation?

if the abs malfunction, can take it out? 6000 is really must well upgrade the brake to mitsubishi or some other performance slotted and holes one then use expensive brake pads also not so expensive... crazy...

So sphiroth, so u also face this abs malfunction problem, I wonder how many owners already got this problem? I am trying to solve this as I also tend to drive more agressively with abs. If it's proton fault, we try to get proton to fix it for us free under EWP. IF proton cannot fix this might as well my coming Inspira request to come without ABS la. I dont want this to be the pain in my neck, maybe get a better discount getting my Inspira w/o ABS - less part , less assembly required.

Please don't waste your hard earn $.  How about you use that $ to upgrade your rims?

Heavy raining ke at kelantan? This raya haji planning to drive back...dont want be like last raya haji..17hours of eye sore driving   because the road is flooded. Change route to paka & use Terengganu road. That time really test my driving stamina..imagine u start drive at 8am from jb and reach tanah merah, kelantan @1.00am next day..

oh crap... now my gearbox having problem too... ever since this major service, looks like my car started having problems with electronics... did they cover everything before shooting water into my engine bay??? what's worse is I dont ask for engine cleaning and they did it to check leaks...
anybody knows why my auto gearbox doesn't want to free the gear... I mean changing from D to N, R to N or R to P actually free the gear and driving wheels (as the car doesn't move), but the indicator doesn't changed to N or P and stuck at D or R. due to this, the engine compensating for the 'lost' and when I engage to D or R it jerks pretty hard...

and when I start the engine at N, indicator shows it's P!!!

like me also, when i bought my waja cps early this year, my brother asked me why i dnt wait for new waja...i said new waja is more expensive...cannot afford..if i bought Lancer GT then inspira come out, then i will regret . After proton stop production for waja, i believe people will find waja CPS if they want to buy 2nd hand waja..so waja cps will become a legend.  ...until now, spec in waja CPS is one of the best proton can offer for that price.
