btw. i have a problem.its only been one day, but the abs sign is still ON even when the engine is running.

im feeling this bad vibe that i have a defect ...or is it just me? is the sign something to worry about?

the abs sign will turn of wif airbag sign after u turn on the engine>then only we can start the engine...if the airbag didnt turn off...u shld go back to the SC....let them check...asap.

Yeah, easier since the car still new and virgin. Mine need to de-mod some parts first to avoid problems when claiming warranty. Anyone can confirmed whether ABS is included in the 5 years warranty?

CPS should be alright..
but if you have the symptom like stereo button on the steering is 'gelong'
or horn sounded unexpectedly, pls send your car to sc for checkup..

just sent my car to the service center.will be done in an hour.apparently its not a big issue with my new car. something bout how the agent was unaware how to configure the vehicle for 1st use. so theyre resetting the thing.

i don't know how the agent do their work..
suppose all the configuration thing are in the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI)..
means they will do inspection to the car before sending to customer..
have they gave you a copy of the PDI..?
if not maybe they don't send your car and the PDI payment 'masuk' in their pocket..

i think all unit need to do inspection....regardless any model coz sometimes we face the same symptom.. myb abs sign sensor/ is one of the symptom!!????

My car also got symptom no 1. abs blinking light also can considered as a symptom?

gen-2 cps is not included in the call back checking exercise. because is using different supplier.

ABS motor only got 3 years warranty same goes as the abs sensor. For cps model, ABS is more long lasting compare with old version as it already running MK-60 model. Old type is running MK-20.

So abs system in our car got life span? Roughly how many year it can last before need service/replace?

Yes. It have life span. For abs system, brake fluid is important. Just change your brake fluid by following the millage. ABS pump cannot be service nor change the replay. Cause for campro MK-20 or MK-60, the abs pump relay was build inside together. Not like perdana type which have separate relay. It not cheap to replace as it cost RM6000 for the abs pump. The life span for it really hard to tell. Some no problem and some spoiled after 4 years.

soo singchaii...maintaining the brake fluid is definitely important for abs?? now my mileage is arnd 85k...with tis number...actually how many times i need/hv change the brake fluid??fyi,i just do bleeding once after changing the brakepad(since buy the car n mileage arnd 50k++ at tht time)
