1 question> for those who`s change timing belt or for singchaii to answer laugh.gif ...issit necessary we change the water pump too during timing belt changing process?if yes wut brand shld we buy? n issit possible if i wanted to change whole belting??will change the timing belt end of this month..
*
If we follow the service manual, when change timing belt then is time to change water pump, accessory belt and accessory belt tensioner. But we can skip if the part is still usable. But for new batch of campro, water pump confirm leaking when we remove the timing belt because of poor quality. Water pump we buy AISIN brand. But make sure is original AISIN which the brand is punch on the waterpump.

belt clip can break from accident??? how strong is the impact??? what car is that??
*
It can be due to improper installation or manufacturer defect. As I know for that citroen, once it accident then the safety belt got the pre-tensioner which lock the safety belt so the passenger won't throw out from the car. Same as in waja cps.

Yup...drive safely. Anything can happen. The car is not my cousin car, its workshop car. My cousin use it coz his car was in workshop.. Cause the accident was power steering malfunction & all around dead suspension.
Anyway i wanna ask our cps need how many liter of engine oil? What i remember my mechanic pour all 4 liter engine oil. hmm.gif
*
Basically it need 4 liter for the indicate to maximum. But for more performance and avoid engine oil leaking from oil seal, it good to pour the engine oil level between minimum and maximum.

AFR too rich at really high rpm.  nod.gif

AFR rich won't cause the engine light turn on. It will have fault code, but the engine light won't turn on.

In my case, need to disconnect the battery for 2 minute.
*
To reset the ecu, actually no need to disconnect the battery so troublesome. Open up the fuse box, you can see a fuse call 'memory'. Just pull up and then put it back. icon_rolleyes.gif

i felt it's good enough already, though can be improved... maybe because i compare to my Wira previously...

but still, it's weird coz i never had smoking hot problems before even running fast and 100% brakes, no engine braking (coz that time still noob... laugh.gif )

now afraid to use too much brakes already... got to check up the brakes first... I got pretty much oversteer when braking on corner (really hate those right lane hogger)

Is time to have better tire and ultra racing bar. tongue.gif

any guideline how to remove the throttle body?
how to let the butterfly valve always 'open' to clean?  sweat.gif
the butterfly valve will not move freely and can be easily damaged if forced to move against the resistance of the stepper motor.  hmm.gif
*
For throttle body which control by accelerator cable, you can open the valve to clean. But for campro, it risky to open the butterfly valve open because it fully control by the stepper motor. If you wanna clean it, try use those carbon chemical to clean it.

This part at the joint. Need to apply grease/silicon. SC can fix FOC.
[attachmentid=1933791]

Yes.. This what we usually did on waja when got chasis sound during uneven road or cornering. Apply grease/sillicon is not for long use. Usually we use punch and hammer to knock it.

to Gen2 CPS users,

anyone change trunk latch before?

[attachmentid=1934582]

After i removed and 'lock' it to the strike plate,
it seems very loose, it is normal?  sad.gif
mine create a lot of rattling noise on this parts...
*
Impossible the seem very loose. Got install correctly? You check the metal rod which connect lock to this trunk latch. usually is the metal rod knocking the rear bonnet metal. Try check and see. If it was loose, mean you install not correctly. laugh.gif
