Did the visa application officer ask you all to show your financial affidavit? Apparently some people don't have to do so and my friend say we can apply for visa/ set up a interview time first before getting the financial guarantee from our sponsors.

I noticed the form indicates self-assessment on the top right hand corner, I guess it is just to give you a flavour of what to expect. Anyway, I did mine online and have gotten it
