Hi, I am new here. I have secured offers to study in Edinburgh, Manchester and Newcastle U. I am Not a jpa bursary student, from lower-middle income family.

Therefore I depend on scholarship provided by private firms, which most of them had rejected my application. Still pending from 2 other scholarship providers.

I cannot afford to go without sponsorship.

My questions is
1. My estimation for the cost of studying in the UK, is RM150k per year. (Tuition: RM 100k, living cost: RM 50k ) ##correct me if I am wrong!
For four years, it would cost me around RM 600k.

So, are you guys self funding? or taking loans?

2.Anyone facing same situation as mine? (got offers, no scholarships?)

My UCAS offer acceptance deadline is near, I depend on scholarship to go to UK university.
But scholarship decision is out in June/July, so I have to firm my offers before getting news from sponsors.

If at the end I do not secure a scholarship after accepted the offer, I will have to withdraw my place from the university. Will there be any punishment or such for withdrawing?
