Guys, I'm in need of some help here. My Q6600 on stock cooling on EP35C-DS3R achieve around 48'C at idle at 65'C at load under Prime95 at stock speed. I'm thinking that it's too hot.... Is it? How can I improve the situatioN? I'm still waiting for my cpu cooler to arrive maybe in a week time.... I dun even dare to OC seeing such condition.... Is there any possiblity that I'm not mounting the stock fan correctly? I had some difficulties mounting the stock fan and I remount it after clipping it to the place.... I remove the whole stock fan and put it back... Will this be a problem? Btw I'm using Lian-Li PC007 and i had those temperatures with my side panel opened

QUOTE(papanzz @ Jun 13 2008, 01:41 PM) got mine about 2 weeks ago. currently running at 3.12 ghz (390 x 8). set vcore 1.262v in BIOS. everything else standard. tried 400 fsb with same vcore but OCCT last only 2 minute. on the other note i have problem with my corsair RAM. installed 2 stick and my PC wont boot. tried running cpu at stock speed got same problem. even when i run it at 667 mhz its still wont boot. so now i only using 1 stick. so i guess my RAM just not compatible with my motherboard. planning to get new 2x2gb of RAM. any suggestion guys? [attachmentid=496792] try clearing the cmos..... and let the ram setting be auto or default 1st.......
