u dun need to run 1:1 when u ram cant cope with the speed same like FSB.. e.g, when u use super duper value ram that cant overclock well above 400mhz, but u want to run ur FSB higher than that.. then no need to do it.. i juz give example, but most DDR2 now can clock above 400mhz
