Probably mobo capacitor @ CMOS battery can't hold the charge any longer...

Why do we need to disable this option?
What will happen if we enable this option?
Next question,
which one more faster
example q6600 has 6-9 multiplier,

333*9= 3GHz FSB 1333MHz
or
375*8=3GHz FSB 1500MHz?
*
Try run HyperPI for both setting.

Does extension cable effecting vcore supply? Since i use it, FSB400 seems not stable even on 1.36V... sweat.gif
Last time can hit 412 with same vcore...

If the extension cable size is smaller than the psu cable I think maybe can effect.Did you check the cable,is it hot or not?
*
Yup. The size is smaller than original PSU cable. But i never check the cable temp yet...

If not mistake, small cable can't handle large current,
So maybe the cable bottleneck the current draw to your mobo.Usually the cable will become hot if it can't handle large current.

doh.gif Then i have to re-route again the cable without extension....will try it later...
Thanks bro..

Just buy this proc,
need to find better cooler, since idle is at 36-40 and the temperature ramp up so fast if open an application.
But at stock speed, and run prime 95 the max temperature is 55C using Zalman CNPS9700.
I try crank up to 3.33GHz by adjusting the multiplier, max temperature is 60C same cooler.
But 3GHz is enough for now  tongue.gif

Time for WC~? Me also tempting to get Quad...but still insufficient budget...

yes, the processor silicon.
oh, so the one 412mhz stable on 1.36v is a different board with this one? unsure.gif

Yeap, same mobo but recently i added the extension for better cable management...

mine is E5800 dual core cpu. 1.29v @ 3.66GHz. (333x11 multi)

stock is 1.28v @ 3.2GHz. (200x16 multi)
*
Is it true:
lower FSB, high multiplier = lower Vcore
high FSB, lower multiplier = high Vcore~?

I kinda noob in this...
