i put on my siggy bcuz i had played with it for a while the other day if im not wrong its 3.6ghz @ 1.36v(not sure) and load temp at around 55C... that proc is sold to my friend according to him its recomended not to push beyond 3.6ghz(8x400) as the voltage may cause degration like my old e8400 ... hes helping to get me another one tomorrow hope got stock... and after 24hours of burn in for the proc @stock then its testing time..

actually its a mod for 65nm proc to make it 1333fsb..
then only some joker claimed it for 45nm.. when it was actually being done for 65nm all the long..

yupe...as cst said, this has been around last year for the 65nm i.e. 1066 (266fsb) proc...by taping pin, the proc has a default fsb of 333, quadpumped to 1333fsb...45nm proc is bornt...so to speak la...
better use a good one, if use cheapo selefon (spelling) tape, might have some 'air' after some time...might short other pins...

btw, i also wanna know how does this q9450 fair against q6600...have been looking around lyp but found none (later found out that it has yet to be in MY shop )...so, thinking of changing but if it not that significant, then no need lor

q9450 only has 8 multiplier.. thats why it's pretty hard to see people using it oc to 4ghz.. mainly bcoz of fsb limitation for quad proc on current board..

58c also consider too hot meh?

Hmmm. Orthos enough? Prime seems to fail easier compared to orthos, that's why I used that. Blend of small fft or large? 

So i just play with the fsb will do right? Usually how long it needs to stress test using primetest95 to confirm is stable?

Want to ask, is it safe to run my Q9550 at 3ghz with FSB 353mhz and memory at 847mhz while maintain PCIE at 100mhz

then i should set back AUTO for the PCIE?

if still hot...just get a delta 40mm fan + double sided tape / screw and fix it onto your NB...that should do the trick.....but usually...gigabyte's one are really hot..since my P965 till my P45 also like this...you cant really touch it with your fingers...it BURNZ
however..if its doesnt crash when used 24/7...it should be okay gua..even tho if its hot...janji boleh OC and use then can ady 

Just take note that the actual voltage during idle and load will defer. Voltage during load will be lesser than during idle. you can compare it yourself under the CPU-Z readings.
