oh yeah for ure info temps now higher cause coolit freezone elite on low..

need too if not when i wake up.. will have condensation on the heatsink.

is that nb voltage neccesarry

in the past with maximus i found out higher fsb termination means higher NB
but higher PLL voltage means lower NB..

so usually try to find a balance with the 3.
seems to apply on this mobo..
but it was on the same proc.

no dude that tape job depends on mobo
it tricks the mobo to make 1600 fsb native which ure foxconn aint..

asus p35's and hence forth easier..since their bios has been updated to support 1600fsb

i wouldnt do it if i was u.

yes the same mod works

actually its a mod for 65nm proc to make it 1333fsb..
then only some joker claimed it for 45nm.. when it was actually being done for 65nm all the long..

Pros :
1.Bios option is amazing especially GTL
2.NB running on passive cooling .. very cool indeed for 1.56v
3.All the plug and play dudes will hate this board cause they wont know how to use the settings
4.CPU/Mem Scores are amazing
5.Stability refined to every voltage and setting
6.U cannot i simply mean cannot do those settings on any other board than DFI... period.. wont work cause they dont have the gtl options

Cons:
1.Inaccuate Vcore reading
2.tRTP setting inaccurate reading by memset and everest.. aka set 3 .. reading 5, set 4 .. reading 4...
3.Award bios is having a hard time with ATI HD3000 series cards.. which is weird for it being able to support crossfire X
4.First PCIEX too close the the NB/Rams.

on load around 35
idle somewhere 10

the cooler was not meant for core 2 duo..
think the elminator is meant for core 2 duo

this is more like for quad core
the problem is the idle temp

real temp shows that the dfi temp on load if off by 5C..
so must minus 5 to be same as real temp

nah its pretty goo with q6600..

90-95percent of reviewers out there.. no nuts..
take note of some ppl in here for example..

lapping, thermal paste application etc. adjusting the tec voltage...

both of u should stop blaming the board..
change ure misconceptions

this board has so many open bios settings
auto will not work..
heck i set every freaking thing right up to channel phase now.. with eva2000 showing the way on that with his x38..
u guys going to die with the new alpha bios.. check Anandtech review and u will see what i mean...
there is more settings now for NB hot slew rate.. and its in HEX format.. kekeke

i dare say so far this board has no issues with 45nm c2d
its the users that are having issues with it.. cause of their fixed conception with other board makers and auto settings
same case as the 790 mobo. a lot of noobs are the one having problem with it..data corruption with the OS..
hence y i want to get it.. prove that i am good enough.. kekekek
although tony in XS b**** when i criticized anandtech on their review.. i still think they sux for the dfi x48 and x38 reviews..
they wanted to compare 1200mhz 500 fsb at laxed tRD's and auto timings with a 790 2000mhz tight tRD's and tight timings for sure..
call me crazy but i say thats stupid..
from their NB voltage and vdimm voltage already i know how lax it is..

willing to bet it wont beat my 4ghz challenge.

2. 3dmark06 Full score.. not just cpu..heck if like that i can tweak it higher but no point right??

as for ure 1.6v issue..
its cause of ure fsb termination voltage and NB...
increase ure pll also for stability...

p35's are awesome for ram overclocking...
and should beat my score if it was clocked and tuned exactly the same..
and u need a stable system to beat this score..
