Guys, I need help here. How can I make the FSB:DRAM to 1:1? Is it ok to have more than that? I mean the stability adn temperature.

Here is my rig:

CPU : Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200
CPU clockspeed : 3.0ghz
Motherboard : Asus P5Q-SE
RAM model : Kingston HyperX DDR2 800
RAM capacity : 1GB X 2
RAM speed : 399.7mhz @ 400mhz, 5-5-5-15
RAM mode : Dual channel
Cooler : Intel Stock Cooler whistling.gif
Time: Still not tested with Super PI or Orthos

What's the problem is the system information show up that the proc is running at 4.16Ghz! Lol, what the heck that the processor running at that speed with 1.192 vcore? sweat.gif

But I already take a screenshot using CPU-Z and now it's telling the truth, at 3.0Ghz @ 1.192. I'm just curious about the DRAM freq. How can I make it 1:1 with the proc fsb? rclxub.gif

one question for u, why u want to make 1:1 for ur ram multiplier? ur fsb is low, if u make it 1:1, ur ram speed will be 666. slower than ur current speed. (although it mean nothing in real life usage though)

super simple way = set ur ram speed twice ur fsb. u will get ur 1:1 ratio~ laugh.gif

that's the answer, thanks. laugh.gif

btw, what's you mean about set up ur ram speed twice ur fsb? Incase my fsb is 200, i need to make it 400? Lol, i got confius which one is the real fsb, got 2 right? Rated FSB is 800 and real fsb is 200.. rclxub.gif

Well:
Rated FSB=800mhz(Quad Date Rate remember)
FSB=200mhz
Memory=400mhz(1:2 divider)
DDR=800mhz as memory is dual data rate
Get it??

You mean that DDR=400mhz, so since it's DDR2=400x2=800mhz? Like uzer85 said, I need to speed up twice my ram from the fsb. So, I need to set the ram fsb to 800mhz?

Hi, I need someone teach me how to OC the E5200. I really noob when playing at volt thingy. Here is my PC spec

Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 2.5Ghz
Asus Maximus II Formula
2 x 2GB HyperX 1066Mhz CL5
ATI HD 4870
Gigabyte Odin GT 550watt

So, what is the setting I need to put? Very noob here.. sad.gif

Thinking to get 3.5Ghz using Corsair H50 watercooled
