Those who are not in urgent need , should wait . I believe in about 3 months time, we will have not only more options but with more reviews of actual units for one to make a better decision. The biggest obstacle i see is how many of these will ever hit our shores . Of course you can always buy it online

Apple got their name and logo from a fruit. If we all want to get nitpicky about copying and stuff, there are many things we can argue about. But lets just discuss it on the merits of the hardware, software, and the company's support. Keep it objective I guess.

confirmation on price - samsung galaxy updated new unit with new VR chip RRP is RM 2699.
most of the specs stays the same cept for a newer VR chip and 1GHz processor as opposed to 1.2 GHz processor.

just received another unit today evening. now i have 3 units with me and all not worth the price.

yea finally received the retail unit for the 7" galaxy. i wouldnt call it a tablet considering it can make calls. its juz a big @ss phone.

@applewindows, considering the power, performance and price, i'd rather buy a full fledge notebook which can do more. 2699 is alot of money which can get u a nice c2d processor and an embedded 400m graphics chip with 2gb ram and 15" tft with a touchpad and keyboard and easily a 320gb drive.

it's the same price with my Acer 4745G with 5470 ATI Mobility switchable which supported Dx11 plus 4GB RAM and 500GB HDD..
Damn pricey r SGT.. Plan to build my own gaming PC then if the price is such this expensive.. Can get Rampage III motherboard and i7 930 processor plus GTX460 Nvidia GC..
If Samsung believe they can compete other tablet with this price then, I hope they think twice before launch it here..

ipad wifi with 3G is also around that price.

And i guess 2.6k is Malaysia price, so most likely singapore or Hong Kong will have cheaper price, as in AP set.

Of course AP will be cheaper but the warranty for these stuff better get ori then
