Is the WIFI any good?
hi... would like to share out my opinion and experience so far with M6. I've been using M6 for about 2 months and i would say, it's fantastic. for me, the most important is to play various file format and it does. Is the WIFI any good?
Plus Point:
I had no problem playing .flv (which i downloaded from youtube) and mkv (which is less popular file format). i've been watching various RMVB files and it has no problem. I also got no issue with switching audio (for dual audio). i had 320GB HDD inside M6 and i can browse the file system and play all the files whether it's, picture, music or movie. I also tried linked up with external HDD (320GB) also and got no issue. Since M6 support Network, i'd hooked it up with my router and play movie remotely to my Desktop and Laptop. so far everything is good. I never try with Wi-Fi but i think should not have any problem. Remote signal can support quite far. I'm a lazy person, thus, i always sit on the crouch with my remote on me. But this will be very subjective as my hse is small. maybe the distance ain't that far.
Negative:
Since i'm using new firmware, the remote sometimes does not do any function as per stated on the remote. For e.g: the select button got no effect when i try to copy the file from Network to the Internal HDD. Thus, there's no way to do any File Copy. IMS: I found out the IMS a bit fussy since i'm not Chinese educated person. so, i got no comment on it.
Overall:
It's a good player with 3 years warranty. As long as it fulfill it's lifespan for 3 years, i woudl say, it's good enough. In my opinion, why wanna worry about the reliability when there is 3 years warranty. The only worry i have with M6 is, whether will it corrupt my HDD in long run or not and what should i do if the Remote Control is missing or Spoiled? If you are looking for a player that play major file format and support network, i would suggest to get M6. i hesitate about this product for almost about 3 months before i purchase it 2 months back. i did lots of research on it and now, i can say, i got no regret purchasing M6. good player and serve me good.
P/S: I'm not related to Ideal Tech or ZhenWei or Yoongkeen. I'm just another buyer who would like share out my opinion and experience with Eaget M6. Cheers. Dun bash me.
P/S: ZhenWei / YoongKeen, if my remote spoiled or went missing, can i re-purchase back the Remote ONLY?
