haha. this is not possible to replace your astro which u need to pay for suscription fees RM100-200 per month and provide u always updated movie/ tv programs. those Online streaming software (IMS) in Eaget was modify by the China Eaget Users in hdpfans forum or the china shop which selling media player.

you saw the words "浦东高清“ at ur left bottom side ? if no have, then u can download this firmware from first post, more IMS can play.

Next week Eaget will send us the firmware which consist "PPS" software, perhaps it can run well. but I still need to try more because China side cannot play the PPS due to ISP restriction.

player response very slow ? we will try more after new english remote reach us. not sure is remote or firmware problem yet.

another good IMS which can run very smooth is 土豆网, buffering is less time, and can play smooth most of the time (assume 4MB streamyx package).

do not expect this eaget to play online streaming in future. this is just "extra features" and "3rd party" added by china forumers. the main purpose still watch Full HD movie.

aiyo... at least stream a smooth movie mah...

Added on February 11, 2011, 1:02 amI had double comfirm with Eaget enginer. they said M7 and M9 should can play PPS, they need to work out with the "oversea firmware 国外版固件".
current firmware which include PPS cannot play but can see the playlist because "MAC Address not yet Upload to PPS server" according to one of the enginer. they will try to edit the firmware and send me next week.
due to China ISP, they cannot test the firmware at china and they need to send us to test in Malaysia frequent times.

i have solme question here..and i hope ts or the owner of eaget m9 can help me answer these questions

1. can the m9 play bluray iso format and use the movie menu funcion
2. can the m9 play bdmv format and use the movie menu funcion
3. can the m9 play DVD(Video TS) format and use the movie menu funcion

Full Menu Function means you can play the mentioned format above with "full menu" as if you play in exact player (dvd player or bluray player)

I saw on ACER KIOSK at lowyat. It show M7 price from 399 to 350 due to CNY promotion... Does this mean that after CNY, its price will return back into original state?

tat is for those walk in customers tactic. if we put RM350, sure they want to discount our price until RM300. and finally no deal.

not yet testing, china side cannot try PPS due to ISP Block, this is the firmware they send to us to try here and feedback to them.
