you can just plug the dvd player to Eaget via RCA Cable.(Video In)
then Eaget to CRT TV via RCA Cable (Video Out). then when you choose AV IN option at menu then u can watch the dvd player.

let me know any bugs for the M9 firmware. see which firmware cannot do recording well.

if you want to use the schedule recording, of coz your hardisk need have the system files from the Eaget as well. and if you are format the internal hardisk using the Eaget Setup then the hardisk will got few folders which is system files contain.

Crushi,use rca cable plug to tv or press hdmi button to detect video output. Eaget x5 is box f10 chipset. Cant do much improve. Not same with realtek chipset

Tis remote cant compare with our samsung lcd tv remote one.
Why not u flash the previous firmware. If the player brick then it not able to boot,so far i see ur one is bug problem

if i dont mistake, the latest january Eaget x5 firmware must flash using memory card not thumbdrive. and the method to flash is different, i dono how to flash. tat's why never post at first post.

no. use other way.

1) turn off the player. switch off at the back of the player. then plug u'r usb drive (with firmware inside)
2) hold the power button (without power on back switch, hold it. do not release)
3) switch on the power switch at the back of the player (ur other hand still push the front power button)
4)hold about 5 - 10 second.
5)then release the power button.
6)then u can see that the player will automatically upgrade the firmware. wait until successful.
7)player will change to Chinese language. change back to English.
8)then try again go to ims. walla



bro. if AV-IN Device, all comfirm is not 1080P or 720P quality. tat's why we cannot record into mkv or HD format. av in (RCA) is like our TV quality, which is like 420 or NTSC/PAL.
