a42ja new owner here..any advise??
havent test much this lappy..
i7 740qm + 5730 ..woot..

will try test it tonight.....just finished installing and settings for that lappy last night....

the specs are-

i7-740QM-1.73GHz boost- 2.9GHz
14" HD Color Shine (LED)
4GB DDR3 - can upgrade to 8GB, two more slots are available...
640GB HDD (its seagate, not sure what model yet)
ATI HD 5730 2GB DDR3 (faster version of HD5650)
wifi
bluetooth
card reader
dvdrw 8x
altec lansing speakers
Win7 Home Premium (64-bit)

multitasking is outstanding..
once i switched to high performance power plan and surfing/installing/copying stuff...the temp bounce from 57-60 C -no aircond...normal for lappy quadie right? it was almost @ 2.9ghz all the time..idle temp, unaware of it..coz so excited and sleepy ..lol..will check and post later..

will try some games tonight.. see how the temps will go..

new lappy with ATi chip dont have the official amd badge coz at 1st unboxing it, i was like "wtf..where is the gfx card??" lol
it just hv a normal sticker with text that mention it has ATi premium gfx.... maybe becoz amd not yet distribute the new badge..

well.. this lappy is more worth the money compare to lenovo Y460 i5-540..

rm3.4k at notebook shop digital mall...the cheapest price i can get after survey around...got 1 asus bag- really small one..with the accessories inside the box...no free peripherals and i dont bother since already have them

a42ja altec speakers issue...

my cq40 altec is better and louder than this lappy..anyone know why? its kinda not loud enuf even at full volume..

im using a42ja, after a lot of research..yes 5730 slightly better plus the dx11 feature(maybe not so appealing but still..)..5730 just a higher clock version of 5650..the 2gb vram really helps a lot when i plug out the display into 24" dell ultrasharp...
