huh?..how come it is not covered by warranty?..then wat is coavered by the warranty?.. hmm.gif  hmm.gif

i asked them personally and they are the ones who say its no in warranty. What is covered in warranty is hardware of the the laptop, the keyboard, LCD and adapter. doh.gif

the exterior built of a42jv is really in doubt. The feel of cheap plastic, loose screen bracket, crack hinge.. I pay to get the nb of asus quality, but hey.. I wonder if made in china nb compromises the original quality?

Depends i guess. sweat.gif

Hey guys, I notice the light on the power adapter still lit even when I switched the power off. Does it mean that the power adapter works like some kind of surge protecter as well?

Using A42JV here. tongue.gif

its just some excessive charge still contain in the power adapter. No big deal. Cheers. icon_rolleyes.gif

Don't worry, refresh A series should be updated with GT 4xx series. Assuming GT 335m will be replaced by GT 425m.

@Astria, see the whole block of fan with the copper pipe? It requires to open up the chasis to reach there.
